The quantity of content available for adaptation appears to be very limited in comparison to the number of chapters adapted from season 1. Therefore, Bleach’s creator Tite Kubo has revealed that the anime would feature some previously unseen bouts.

He had created them and has been collaborating with the studio to bring them to life. These battles will compensate for the upcoming part’s lack of manga content while also putting to use the many new characters introduced by the Sternritter.

Despite being a major supporting character, Uryu was surprisingly sidelined in the first part. He barely made any appearance and didn’t do much at all.

However, nothing about his betrayal was unexpected since the first part had already mentioned the truth behind his mother’s death. Uryu was looking into some research materials and learned the truth.

Therefore, anime fans can rest assured that Uryu isn’t going to turn evil out of the blue. Among all of Ichigo’s friends, he is the only one strong enough to fight side-by-side with him.

The first Quincy invasion resulted in countless casualties and the loss of several Bankai. This embarrassing defeat was only made worse when their Head Captain Genryusai Yamamoto died after being tricked by Yhwach.

Therefore, the Soul Reapers pledged to stop Yhwach and have their revenge. Before the second invasion, they begin to train endlessly and improve their skills.

Though their revenge is short-lived, they manage to defeat the Sternritters who created the most havoc. Sadly, Yhwach was a different entity that no one could even put a scratch on.

Bleach TYBW was extremely intense, killing off one character after another. Tite Kubo went all out in the final arc and started it off with lots of deaths.

Another possibility is that he wanted to reduce the number of characters since he had so much to cover in the limited chapters of the final arc. Although the series has some characters lined up to meet their ultimate demise, it won’t be as many as the first part.

Now they finally have peace, and readers get to know very little of what their peacetime lives are like.

Chad’s budding career as a professional fighter is only hinted at, and no one could see Uryu mend ties with his father Ryuken and begin his own career in medicine. It’s all left to the imagination, and that is hardly satisfying.

The returning Bleach anime has plenty of material to work with from the original manga, but it also has some room to innovate and fill in some awkward gaps near the end. The bulk of the Thousand-Year Blood War story arc is fully fleshed out already, but near the end, the gaps appear, and that’s where the new anime can take over.

There must be more to the Wandenreich’s fall than just Yhwach falling in battle. More importantly, the new Bleach anime can bridge the gap between Yhwach’s defeat and the epilogue scenes from the manga, and doing so won’t necessarily take a long time.

But the new anime can devote one or two episodes, at most, to exploring Ichigo’s post-war life and how he formalized his romantic relationship with Orihime. The same can also be done for major characters such as Uryu, Rukia, Chad, Renji, and even Kisuke Urahara and Yoruichi Shihoin.

These scenes could depict Uryu’s formal retirement from Quincy life, and his new perspective on the world as a medical student. The new Bleach anime can also detail Rukia’s rise to Captaincy within the Soul Society, and show the Soul Reapers building bridges with the world of the living.

The story of Bleach absolutely did not end with the final blow to Yhwach — there needs to be more falling action, and the new anime can provide all that and more. Bleach fans have come too far for anything less.

This arc was not adapted originally because the anime got canceled due to low ratings and the slow decline in interest due to filler storylines and a very long crawl toward the end of the manga.

Not only will they be adapting this arc, but they will be adding in things that were not able to be included before due to the author’s illness. It is a great time to be a new or returning fan of Bleach.

In conclusion, it is unlikely that Bleach could end with the second part of the Thousand Year Blood War arc. After the second part’s run, the remaining chapters could be adapted into one final third part, which could potentially be the final conclusion for Bleach.

After waiting for almost a decade, it seems likes fans would have to be a little more patient to witness the conclusion of Bleah, thereby finally allowing one of the Big Three to rest peacefully.

One of the features that helped Bleach stand out among its contemporaries was the series’ unique character designs. Tite Kubo went to great lengths to ensure that everyone looked distinct and authentic.

Kaien’s sister Kukaku was one of the most visually striking characters in all of Bleach, in part due to her amputated arm. In the anime, Kukaku used a prosthetic limb to make her life easier.

Most Bleach fans agree that the Soul Society arc was the series at its best. Viewers loved this storyline for its fantastic fight scenes, sophisticated storytelling, and pivotal character moments.

There are also plenty of viewers who feel that this arc derailed the anime, largely because of its notoriously incomplete ending.

Anime-only watchers may have a different perspective about Ichigo’s father than what Kubo intended. In the TV series, Isshin is more of a goofy comic relief character until his Shinigami origins are disclosed at some point during the Arrancar arc.

However, Isshin’s manga version plays a much more pivotal role from the very first chapter. He’s always going to be a wellspring of cringeworthy Dad Jokes, but he also serves as a mentor to Ichigo and his sisters when necessary.

On the subject of Bleach’s supporting cast, it’s worth mentioning that Ichigo’s close friends and family members play significant roles in the manga storylines. Fascinating characters like Yasutora Sado and Uryu Ishida don’t get to shine as much in the anime.

To be fair, several other anime adaptations are guilty of this omission — Gohan was supposed to take over Goku’s role as DBZ’s main protagonist, while Zoro is a somewhat aimless character in One Piece.

A few characters from the anime don’t even appear in the manga in any way, shape, or form. For example, the infamous Shusuke Amagai exists only in The New Captain Shusuke Amagai arc.

Much like the Bounts, however, Shusuke Amagai has no place in Tite Kubo’s original narrative. This villain ultimately became one of Bleach’s most popular characters, so it can be argued that the studio’s decision to craft a filler arc around him wasn’t entirely baseless.

Season 13 is yet another example of Bleach’s many fillers. To be honest, there are so many extraneous episodes that they often leak into the canonical storyline, confusing the audience.

That said, the Zanpakuto Rebellion arc doesn’t fall into this category. It centers around a bizarre character named Muramasa, a rogue Zanpakuto spirit who goes on a rampage for ambiguous reasons.

The Gotei 13 Invading Army arc is by far the most pointless set of filler episodes in Bleach. As with its predecessors, some viewers genuinely enjoyed this arc, whereas many more were simply unable to tolerate the anime’s penultimate season.

It includes nonsensical concepts that straight-up shatter the overarching narrative framework, like Yamamoto’s battle against Inaba Kageroza. To the relief of many and the chagrin of others, this arc only appears in the anime adaptation.

Technically speaking, both the manga and the anime had rushed endings. However, while the manga screeched to a halt because Tite Kubo hurriedly put down his pen, the anime was canceled long before it could catch up.

There are countless narrative differences between the manga and anime adaptations of Bleach. One of the most commonly discussed deviations is the lack of gore in the anime.

Television censorship guidelines and regulations. are largely responsible for this change, which is something most fans can understand.

Kubo’s artistic flair shines brightest in the manga, where he portrays each battle with incredible artistry and tons of chiaroscuro, a visual effect that mixes light and shadow to create a striking impact. In fact, Ichigo is initially able to see Rukia because of this ability, although he quickly gains a whole new range of powers soon after their meeting. Karin’s twin sister, Yuzu, doesn’t have this ability in the anime, but she’s capable of sensing spirits in the manga.

Given that both Karin and Yuzu are Masaki Kurosaki’s children, it doesn’t make sense for one of them to have no powers, whatsoever.

As a Shinigami Captain, he’s clearly smart enough to recognize obvious patterns and changes in the world around him. This is shown during his fight.

The adventure finally ended with Ichigo and the Soul Society facing their greatest threat: the revived Quincies and their leader Yhwach who wanted to take down the Soul King and destroy the Soul Society. At that time, there were two other popular shonen series: One Piece (1997-present) and Naruto (1999-2014).

One Piece, Naruto, as well as Bleach, came around at just the right time to save Shonen Jump financially by attracting its once-lost reader base and new readers. Bleach’s position in The Big Three was not unearned.

This chapter took place 12 years after the events of the manga and saw Ichigo, now an adult, continuing in his responsibilities as a Soul Reaper along with his other friends. Thanks to Kubo’s continued interest in the story and world of Bleach, he created more content for the fans (both old and new) to enjoy in anticipation of the anime’s return. By expanding the world, introducing new characters, revisiting past characters, and teasing at potentially more story, Kubo had prepared his audience for the anime adaptation of the final arc.

With the return of its original voice cast and stunning animation by Studio Pierrot, the anime had a strong premiere, rating 9.11/10 on anime database website MyAnimeList after its airing. With the 13th episode having aired on December 27, 2022, and thus concluding the first part of the anime, it currently sits at a 9.15 rating and is ranked #1 on MyAnimeList’s “Top Anime” page.

While the animation and voice cast certainly drew in anime fans to test the waters, the action and story should be credited with maintaining the audience. The final arc is objectively the most violent, action-packed, and character-driven arc of the series.

A new enemy that is more formidable, dangerous, and ruthless than even Aizen has appeared in the form of Yhwach and his Quincy army. Coupled with the return of fan-favorite characters as well as the introduction of new, interesting allies and seemingly unbeatable enemies, not to mention the death of prominent characters, Bleach had no trouble returning to the anime scene.

Everything that audiences and Ichigo understood to be true about the Soul Society and the Quincies is rocked to its core in the final arc. After a victorious return to form in the first episode, Ichigo quickly finds himself in the position of simply not being strong enough to save his friends, even after all the hard work he put in to regain his powers.

Tite Kubo does not hold back in his violent depiction of war in the final arc and it gives the sense that almost no character is safe. This anticipation of what could come next could be felt in even the manga readers watching the anime.

With Boruto continuing the legacy of Naruto and One Piece still airing 25 years later, Bleach has returned to its rightful place to round out Shonen Jump’s “Big Three.”.

One of the biggest anime shows of the early 2000s was Bleach. Part of the “Big Three” at the time, along with Naruto and One Piece, Bleach followed a high school kid named Ichigo Kurosaki who became a Soul Reaper meant to protect humanity from evil spirits and help them reach the afterlife.

Bleach’s manga and anime ended a few years back, but is the story really over. Its creator, Tite Kubo, has been open to continuing Bleach, and new content has come out in 2021 — can fans expect even more new content.

The Bleach manga ended back in 2016 and the anime ended a few years prior in 2012 due to low ratings. However, since the anime ended with the Lost Substitute Shinigami arc, a proper conclusion was never given, and fans had to turn to the manga to see the ending, which many were disappointed by.
