Their ability to OVERCOME was dependent upon three factors: (A) Their UNDERSTANDING and APPROPRIATING the blood of The Lamb. (B) The Word of their Testimony, and (C) The Complete Surrender of their lives even to the point of death.

Proverbs 6:1-2 “You have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth.” Proverbs 18:20,21 A man’s self shall be filled with the fruit of his mouth. and with the consequence of his words he must be satisfied [whether good or evil].

Matthew 12:37 (AMP) For by your words you will be justified and acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned and sentenced. Words filled with faith – or words that are spoken that are in alignment with the Word of God (what God says) will bring you into victory.

Words are the most powerful thing in the universe. As sons and daughters of God, man is a spirit being, very capable of operating on the same level of faith as God, our Heavenly Father.

and nothing will be impossible to you. Mark 11:23 Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him.

Literally, “Be imitators of God as children imitate their parents.” To imitate God means to do what He doesTo imitate God means to do what He does. That is, to talk like, and act like Him.

He spoke to demons (Luke 4:31-44). He spoke to the fig tree (Matthew 21:19.

The wind, sea, tree, demons, and even the dead were obedient to what He said. God is ‘a faith God’.

No, faith comes by hearing. Faith comes from hearing something spoken.

God’s Word has creative power. And that creative power is PRODUCED by the heart, FORMED by the tongue, and RELEASED out of the mouth in word form.

But, for the Word to be effective, man must speak it in faith. John 12:49 For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.

Man must rise up and take dominion over the power of evil and darkness by speaking the Word of God. “They are hearing what ‘the world’ speaks’ and then speaking as the world speaks…” “By speaking what ‘they hear’ rather than what ‘they really hear’ (in My Word) – they have lost both sight and confidence in My Word.

Just as sure as they are planted, you can be equally sure a harvest will follow.

In Mark 11:23, Jesus tells you that you can have what you say, if what you say comes from faith in your heart. He always spoke the end results, not the problem. Never — did He confess present circumstances.

He used the written Word to defeat Satan. THE WORD OF GOD CONCEIVED IN THE HEART, FORMED BY THE TONGUE, AND SPOKEN OUT OF THE MOUTH RELEASES CREATIVE POWER.

Reading and understanding the different ways of knowing as taught in the course can be difficult because of complex terminologies used in ToK books, but that doesn’t have to be the case. Language In TOK, language is a set of symbols and signs with defined meaning. Language builds on a set of norms and it has constraints, which are critical to study in Theory of Knowledge.

In fact, no culture can exist or operate without language. But language isn’t perfect by any means.

Sense Perception Many people are only aware of the five senses, which are sight, smell, hearing, touch, and taste. However, there are less known senses that are just as important to TOK.

That’s sensory perception. Medical experts like to refer to it as proprioception.

Sensory perception is inarguably significant to our existence, but it has some drawbacks. For example, this way of knowing only describes what human can perceive biologically.

Emotion Emotion in Theory of Knowledge is a mean by which we understand thoughts, feelings, and behavior. Studies unveil emotion as a strong way of knowing in TOK because we make many of our decisions based on how we feel.

It excludes community because emotion can impart information only to a single individual. For example, two people may drink sparkling water but express distinct emotional reaction.

Reason Reason is a way of knowing that generates knowledge independent of human senses. Here, we take what we already know, synthesize it into new knowledge, and deduce what we can’t easily perceive through reason.

You’re home. You look outside through the window and notice there are not clouds.

Here, you rely on reason. You conclude that it’s not raining because there are no clouds.

Imagination Through imagination, we can generate new concepts, pictures, and thoughts to generate new information. Take businesses for example.

However, imagination has its limits. The extent to which humans can image and generate new knowledge depends on real-life experiences.

Intuition Intuition focuses on human sensation. If someone gets a gut sensation based on experience, a series of encounters, or previous events, we call that intuition.

Unfortunately, even intuition as a way of knowing in TOK has its flaw. In particular, this WOK can’t make accurate prediction 100% of the time.

Memory Many IB students struggle to grasp how humans use memory to generate new knowledge. Is there anything special about memory.

Interestingly, humans must employ concepts from memory to generate new knowledge and build new information. When a student learns to read, they depend on letter meanings from memory.

The problem with memory is that our recollection isn’t always dependable.After all, many factors, such as people’s thoughts about incidents and your emotional state, can affect how and whether you recall the events and experiences. 8.

In TOK, faith is the complete trust of something based on spiritual conviction. Therefore, faith is not only impossible to verify but also it contradicts scientific evidence.

Of course, there’s a link between faith and religion. However, religion may arise based on a group or movement.
