Where to watch One Piece dubbed? [1]

For years, there has been an ongoing debate among fans about whether anime or manga is superior, usually with a very linear answer in sight. However, one topic that continues to spark intense discussion without a definitive answer is whether anime should be watched dubbed, or subbed in the Western world.

Just a few weeks ago, it was announced that One Piece would finally receive its long-awaited English dub, catering to the growing demand from viewers who prefer not to read subtitles. Admittedly, in my opinion, the quality of dubs can often be questionable, but they undeniably make the viewing experience more convenient.

For over 20 years, fans have eagerly gathered around their screens to catch the latest episodes of One Piece. It has become the most popular anime and manga worldwide, attracting an ever-growing fanbase.

One Piece has been a mainstay in the libraries of Crunchyroll and Funimation for quite some time. Initially, the series only offered the original Japanese voice actors with English subtitles (or whichever other languages) but after years of fans requesting a dub, Crunchyroll has finally heeded their wishes, putting an end to relying on dubious and sketchy unofficial websites for dubbed content.

Currently, the English dub is only available in certain territories, namely, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. So, international fans hoping to watch the newly announced dub may still need to rely on subtitles.

As for the voice actors, they will not be voiced by the live-action cast, but instead, they still rely on a pretty talented bunch. Luffy will be voiced by Colleen Clinkenbeard Carroll, Zoro by Christopher R.

In an attempt to attract dub-only fans to the One Piece universe, this new addition arrived on the platform on July 5th, and more dubbed episodes are expected to be added over time. However, for now, you may still need to rely on the subs if you’re all caught up.

It was first broadcast on Fuji Television on October 20, 1999. As of June 2022, there are over 1020 episodes spanning twenty seasons.

Before he was executed, the legendary Pirate King Gold Roger revealed that he had hidden the treasure One Piece somewhere in the Grand Line. Now, many pirates are off looking for this legendary treasure to claim the title Pirate King.

Luffy, is a boy who had eaten the Devil’s Fruit and gained rubber powers. Now he and his crew are off to find One Piece, while battling enemies and making new friends along the way.

Prior to the series’ acquisition by 4Kids Entertainment, an English dub was first recorded by the Singaporean dubbing company Odex in 2003, and was produced by Animax. Though Odex tried to license it for TV, the deal fell through after 26 episodes, the dub was released on VCD in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

This dub is relatively unknown due to it being limited to those countries.

However many voice actors left between the two Seasons, characters such as Nami had three different voices through the Odex dub of the series. The common complaint leveled against the dub is the poor recording standards, poor editing and wooden acting.

As Toei Animation was scouting for an English dubbing company to produce an English dub for the series in 2004, there was stiff competition as to who would gain the rights.

On June 4, 2004, 4Kids Entertainment announced that they had acquired the television distribution and merchandising license for One Piece in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. 4Kids won the license in a package deal with Magical DoReMi, a show they were actually intent on dubbing, with no prior knowledge to the shows content.

4Kids’ dub of One Piece is infamous for its mandated edits for content and length, reducing the first 143 episodes down to 104. Many, if not all, of the changes made were mandatory for the series to be suitable for broadcast in a children’s timeslot.

There were various character names changes, most notably changing Roronoa Zoro to “Zolo”. 4Kids toned down many of the series’ more emotionally intense scenes, also toning down violence and other extreme situations, including writing out the deaths of characters, sometimes unintentionally making it even worse.

Several episodes were also removed, including ones which would turn out to be important later on in the series. The original music score was replaced by a new in-house score composed by Jeff Silverman, along with a new opening theme, the infamous “One Piece Rap”.

“, sung by Russell Velázquez. This theme only previewed at a con sometime in 2004.

4Kids’ dub premiered in the United States on September 18, 2004 on the Fox network as part of the weekend programming block Fox Box, and would later air on Toonami in April 2005. Reception of their dub was overwhelmingly negative, being universally panned by fans of the original Japanese version for their alterations to the series.

4Kids released a statement in December 2006 confirming that it cancelled the project. Mark Kirk, the Vice President of Digital Media for 4Kids Entertainment, said the experience on producing One Piece “ruined the company’s reputation.” Since then, 4Kids established a more strict set of guidelines, checks, and balances to determine which anime the company acquires.

On April 13, 2007, FUNimation Entertainment licensed the series and started production on their own English-language release of One Piece, both resuming where 4Kids left off, as well as going back and redubbing their episodes uncut for DVD. For FUNimation’s cast, Toei and creator Eiichiro Oda had picked from audio clips of who they’d like to portray the main characters and some of the major villains (such as Rob Lucci).

For Toonami’s airing, FUNimation created a television dub which kept consistency with the 4Kids dub, keeping their naming conventions (Zolo instead of Zoro) though contained much lighter editing and the original music. Due to Cartoon Network’s standards, the practice of altering Sanji’s cigarette into a lollipop was changed to it being removed entirely.

FUNimation released its first uncut bilingual DVD box set, containing 13 episodes, on May 27, 2008, retailing for $49.98 MSRP. On July 26, 2011, FUNimation began to re-release dub episodes on “collections” using a discounted MSRP of $24.99 for 26 episodes.

As of April 2020, FUNimation has currently dubbed 587 episodes of the series uncut.

The dub returned on April 28, 2020, with Episodes 575-587. Starting with this release, the dub is largely paid for by Toei Animation.

How to watch One Piece movies in order [5]

Based on Eiichiro Oda’s manga of the same name, One Piece has aired continuously since the late ’90s, making it one of the most legendary anime shows of all time. And because of that, the series is more complex than you might think.

In total, you could stay up for two weeks straight and still not have time to binge through this entire saga of over 1,000 episodes. And that doesn’t even include Netflix’s recent One Piece live-action adaptation, let alone the anime reboot The One Piece that they’ve just announced.

In comparison, watching Dragon Ball in order would be significantly quicker, with just over 600 episodes. That makes starting One Piece a somewhat daunting task, so that’s where we come in.

As there are over 1,000 episodes to watch, you might be tempted to jump in at a later starting point, but to really enjoy the full experience properly, we do recommend starting at the very beginning and watching One Piece in chronological order. All of the specials, films, and OVAs are included in this list for the complete experience.

Also note that everything has been divided into two separate blocks which take place before and after the time skip, right up to the latest movie, One Piece Film: Red. So, settle in.

East Blue Saga. Alabasta Saga.

Water 7 Saga. Thriller Bark Saga.

The best sci-fi news and features this side of the Outer Rim. By entering your details, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions and privacy policy.

AFTER THE TIME SKIP. Fish-Man Island Saga.

Whole Cake Island Saga. Wano Country Saga.

Based on the manga, after the Wano Country Saga concludes, we can expect One Piece to continue into the Final Saga with the Egghead Arc. As much as you might want to watch all of One Piece in its entirety, we appreciate that people need to sleep occasionally.

Here’s our One Piece filler list: Alternatively, you could just skip the following filler episodes, instead.

However, these episodes are slightly different. Anime often use episodes to recap past adventures and give the animators a chance to breathe, so you’re not really missing out if these particular episodes don’t make it onto your watchlist.

If you really want to whizz through One Piece for a taste of what it’s like, you could also focus solely on the 15 films that have been released to date. This isn’t ideal, though, as a lot happens in the regular episodes between each movie.

Some One Piece movies are more important to the overall arc than others, so if you’re planning to speed things up even more, consider the following films to be unmissable: The eight episodes of Netflix’s live-action series can be watched at any point, taking the events of the East Blue saga and turning them into their own.

It’s an easy way to compare and contrast the changes, as well as backing up the brand new scenes with even more context. One Piece is currently available to stream on Netflix.

So fortunately, no, you don’t need to have seen the original One Piece anime in order to understand Netflix’s The One Piece – they’re the same story, just one will have a much more modern animation style compared to the original. Let’s hope The One Piece still has an element of hand-drawn animation though.

While not everyone has been on board with this news, it’s undoubtedly a fascinating experiment that we can’t wait to see play out. The first teaser for The One Piece can be seen below, check it out now.

One Piece is available to stream in the UK on the streaming service Crunchyroll. On Netflix, the 2019 film One Piece: Stampede is available to stream.

Where to Watch All One Piece Movies in English? [6]

The popularity of One Piece is ever-increasing over years, and it’s the reason the compelling anime series has continued for more than two decades. However, if you’re still trying to find a source to watch it, we’ll help you figure it out.

Right now, One Piece is following the story where our beloved Luffy is challenging the strongest antagonist in the series yet, Kaido. The fight is going on as the series has completed the 1000 episodes mark.

The dubbed episodes usually arrive later than the original ones. The good thing is there are plenty of them available that if you start watching right now, more will continue to launch by the time you’ll reach the latest ones.

Its story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a boy whose body gained the properties of rubber after eating a Devil Fruit unknowingly.

One Piece was first aired in October 1999 and crossed the 1000 episodes mark just last year.

This is because of the reason that it takes time to dub the episodes accurately and Funimation is currently working on more dubbed episodes. There are a number of sources to watch both dubbed as well as subbed One Piece episodes including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Crunchyroll, and others.

One Piece English dubbed episodes are available on a number of platforms. Some of them require a paid subscription while others are free.

Thus, we’ll only share the list of official and legal sources here. Netflix is an incredible streaming platform to watch all sorts of shows and movies.

However, they are pretty less in number. You can only watch up to the first four seasons of the series.

That too is available in a limited number of countries including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Australia, and Japan.

If you’re willing to watch more dubbed episodes, you’ll have to try the alternate sources that we’ve shared below. Funimation is the best source to watch the maximum number of dubbed One Piece episodes.

However, the only issue with Funimation is that it’s available only in a limited number of countries. It’s only available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, and New Zealand for $5.99 a month or $59.99 a year.

Fortunately, Sony has now acquired Funimation and announced the merger of its library with Crunchyroll. This means all the episodes will soon be available on Crunchyroll as well.

It has all the 1,113 episodes of One Piece with accurate English subtitles. After Sony’s merger of Funimation’s library with Crunchyroll in March 2022, all the dubbed episodes of One Piece are also available on the service.

However, Crunchyroll’s full anime and manga library are exclusive to the United States. You can’t find all the videos in the UK, Canada, Australia, or any other country.

Crunchyroll also offers a 14-day free trial. If you’re in the US, Crunchyroll is the best source to watch all the One Piece episodes alongside Funimation.

Hulu is another platform where you can watch dubbed episodes of One Piece. However, it also has only a limited number of episodes available.

After that, you’ll have to consider switching to either Funimation or Crunchyroll depending on your region. Hoopla Digital is one more platform having English dubbed episodes of One Piece.

You don’t even need a subscription to stream them as the service works on a pay-as-you-go basis.

It still isn’t better than watching One Piece on Funimation or Crunchyroll. Amazon Prime Video is another amazing streaming platform featuring a massive library of shows and movies.

It only consists of the first 130 dubbed episodes in a limited number of countries.

Most of the episodes cost around $1.99. Thus, it isn’t a very pocket-friendly and convenient way to watch One Piece.

However, you can buy the Disney Plus Streaming Bundle which includes access to content on Hulu. And, Hulu has a number of One Piece episodes available.

Funimation has dubbed One Piece episodes in the English language only till number 794. If you’ve watched till episode 794, you have two choices- wait for more English dub episodes to release or switch to watching original One Piece episodes with English subtitles.

Funimation owns the rights to the One Piece anime in North America for streaming, home video, and recording their own in-house English dub. Since Sony now owns both Funimation and Crunchyroll, it has decided to merge their libraries.

However, you must purchase a subscription before starting to stream. One Piece English dub movies are available legally on Funimation while the subbed versions are available on Crunchyroll.

Out of those, 6 are available to stream while the remaining 4 are in the shop. This means you have to purchase their DVDs from the shop section.

Here’s the list of One Piece movies available on Funimation: Available in the Shop Section as DVDs:

Funimation is the best if you are looking to watch English dubbed episodes of One Piece while Crunchyroll is perfect to watch subbed episodes. Both the platforms also feature a number of One Piece movies and are available in the US.

In addition, you’ll also get a special deal to get 60 days of Crunchyroll Premium free as a way to welcome Funimation to the new Crunchyroll family. If you qualify for the deal, Sony will send you an email with a unique link to redeem the offer.

Now go and start binge-watching possibly the greatest anime in history. Feel free to share some great anime recommendations in the comments section.

What is the Dragon Ball x One Piece x Toriko crossover special all about? [9]

Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Toriko’s crossover special has been dubbed in English, and it is now available to stream on Hulu. Ten years after the episode’s initial airing, the special’s English-dubbed version is being made available.

Luffy, and Toriko. This crossover aired sometime in October 2022 on Toonami.

However, the first half of the special was not dubbed in English owing to licensing issues. Therefore, Toonami skipped the first half of the special and went straight to the concluding part of the crossover special.

Disclaimer: This article contains spoilers from the crossover special.

The likes of Vegeta and Android 18 also make an appearance during the special. The first half of the crossover revolves around a tournament in which Goku, Toriko, and Luffy take part.

The winner of the tournament would receive the tastiest meat to ever exist. Those who have watched the series know just how much the aforementioned characters love food.

However, the Dragon Ball x One Piece x Toriko special later reveals that the prime antagonist was a floating fish-like creature known as Akami. Suddenly, it attacked all the participants and viewers present at the tournament.

Goku, Luffy, and Toriko worked in unison to take the foe down. The final fight was spectacular since we saw Goku utilize the Kamehameha attack in his Super Saiyan form.

Luffy used his popular Gomu Gomu no Elephant Gun. Goku, Luffy, and Toriko’s combined efforts annihilated Akami once and for all.

How to watch the One Piece live action series in chronological order [10]

Arguably even more than before, 2023 has felt like the year of One Piece — not least of all because of the debut of Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga series, which created a whole new wave of fans for Luffy, Zero, and NAMI. It’s not only the live-action show that’s kept going through the year, though.

After more than two decades’ worth of shows, it would only make sense for newcomers and old fans alike to need some kind of guide to keep up with the show. That’s where we come in.

Sure, other anime series predate One Piece, but few have had the lasting power of Luffy and his band of merry pirates. The Straw Hats’ adventures began in the manga back in 1997 and have been going strong ever since.

Eiichiro Oda has found the perfect balance between humor, action, and heart-breaking moments in One Piece. Over half a billion copies of the manga have been sold since 1997 as countless fans have joined Monkey D.

One Piece takes place in a world filled with all manner of fantasy elements, including dwarves, merfolk, and the iconic Gum-Gum Fruit, which granted Luffy his incredible stretching powers.

That’s why we’re here.

Like many Shonen anime films, most of the One Piece movies are considered non-canon, meaning that they exist at nebulous points in the series timeline. We’ve tried to place them as close as possible to where they should be, based on the characters present and their various abilities.

One thing to keep in mind is that One Piece makes liberal use of flashbacks, particularly in later arcs to allow the animators to fill time with minimal effort. This means that some portions of episodes take place earlier, but we’ve kept these with the overall chronological placing of the episode to avoid confusion.

Whether you’re a longtime Straw Hat pirate or you’ve just joined Luffy’s adventures in the Grand Line, here is the best way to watch One Piece in chronological order.

While the One Piece anime has plenty of flashback episodes, it can be very confusing to try to skip back and forth between episodes of the anime. That’s why it is usually better to watch it in release order, which removes the need to jump back and forth.

Here is the release order for the anime incarnation of One Piece, complete with the TV specials and OVAs.

As one of the most popular anime series of all time, the streaming rights to One Piece are more valuable than pirate treasure. While you can invest in DVDs, it is probably more cost-effective to stream the episodes.

You can find every episode of One Piece in Japanese with English subtitles on Crunchyroll in most regions, with new episodes added within a few days of the original broadcast. However, the dubbed version is currently unavailable online due to the merger between Funimation and Crunchyroll in 2022.

The One Piece live-action series however, is exclusive to Netflix. It might seem like One Piece will continue forever, but all stories must eventually end.

At Jump Fiesta in December 2022, he also said that it would end “in its own time” and wouldn’t be rushed. With more than 1000 chapters already published in Luffy’s story, it might still be several years before he finally achieves his dream of becoming king of the pirates.

That might give us just enough time to finally get caught up.

It has been one of the pillars of the anime industry for more than 20 years and has influenced everything that has come after it. If you’re looking for another classic Shonen anime to dive into, you can catch up on all of Goku’s adventures with our Dragon Ball viewing guide.

It is still weekly airing with over 1031 episodes. Last year, the significant platforms made some major amendments to their library, and till then, many fans have been facing the same issue of where & how to watch One Piece in English dub.

However, before proceeding with this question, let’s concentrate on the most popular anime platform, i.e., Crunchyroll. So, here we have come up with the answer to one of the most asked questions: “Does Crunchyroll have One Piece English dub.

The answer to the question: No, Crunchyroll only has the English sub version of all One Piece episodes. It is the world’s best platform when we consider watching the latest episodes of One Piece, but the catch is that Crunchyroll has the license to broadcast the anime only in the original Japanese version.

But the best part is fans can watch the latest episodes of One Piece on the same day of release every week on Crunchyroll. Now, jump to the first question, “where & how can we watch One Piece in English dub online.

So, let’s dive deep into it.

No, Crunchyroll only has episodes of the One Piece anime series in the English sub version or the original Japanese audio. Crunchyroll is the best platform to watch the latest episode of One Piece every Sunday, but those who wish to watch the English dub version should jump to the other official platforms like Funimation.

One Piece began airing in October 1999 and is still ongoing in both anime and manga. There are 1058 chapters as of August 2022 and 1031 episodes.

The animation, battle choreography, and OSTs are insane and do justice to Oda’s artwork. Therefore, if you absolutely cannot wait, simply head over to Crunchyroll and watch the series in the English sub.

One Piece has more content apart from the main series. To sum it up, we have listed it accordingly below:

One Piece anime is available in most regions, including the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, and Latin America. However, not all movies are licensed by Crunchyroll yet.

Therefore, if you don’t have a subscription to Crunchyroll, you need not worry. You can simply head over to the platform and enjoy the English sub version.

There is a probability that One Piece is not obtainable in your geographical region. For this, we recommend proceeding with a good VPN.

Crunchyroll offers one free plan and three paid plans for its services. The free plan includes ads and allows you to access a good number of anime and manga to watch and read for free.

For countries where One Piece is available. For countries where One Piece is not available:

If you already have Crunchyroll premium subscription, then you can directly log in to your Crunchyroll app/website after changing your location. It will modify its library.

Fans who desire to watch One Piece in English can proceed over Funimation. On the other hand, Hulu also has episodes of the first three One Piece arcs in English dub.

One Piece is one of the best-selling manga of all time. Therefore, as its popularity and demand grew, many official platforms rushed to obtain the license to stream it.

Like Crunchyroll, Funimation is one of the oldest and most preferred sites to offer anime for streaming. And therefore, it is no surprise that this site has One Piece in most of the region, including the US and Canada.

Not only this, but Funimation also has an official English dub part of One Piece anime, but presently only the first 830 episodes have been dubbed till now. Maybe in the future, we will get more episodes in the English language, but right now, fans can watch the One Piece English dub up to Episode 830.

Therefore it is the best choice to watch One Piece in English dub. Below we have mentioned other substantial statuses of the series on Funimation.

All One Piece episodes are available on Funimation (US & Canada) in the English sub. However, the latest 15 episodes are always under the premium section.

As of August 2022, we can watch up to One Piece Episode 830 on Funimation. But the most important part is only the first 430 episodes are under ad-support format.

And lastly, if the series is unavailable in your region, you have to proceed with a good VPN. To know the step-by-step process on how to watch One Piece on Funimation globally, kindly refer to the article mentioned below.

(2022) | Latest Updates. Moreover, fans can also avail the benefits of 14 days trial period on Funimation to cover up both One Piece series without any cost.

Hulu is known for the diverse range of content it offers for streaming, which also includes anime. Therefore, Hulu offers you to watch One Piece in its top quality hassle-free.

If you wish to watch the English Sub version of One Piece, Hulu is the best site for you. The current status of the series on Hulu is as follows:

Over the years, Netflix has absorbed various media content in several languages. Therefore, given the rapidly growing popularity of anime and manga worldwide, Netflix now has a wide range of anime to choose from, one of which is One Piece.

Now, since the content on Netflix varies from region to region, you will need to check if your country has One Piece available. In some regions, only a few seasons are available, and in some, all the seasons are in both English and Japanese Dub and Sub.

It is so no surprise that a long series has many spin-offs, ova, and movies. It may be confusing to get the sequence of the content right, especially for the new fans.

There is a total of 10 arcs and 15 movies as of now and the movies premiered whilst the episodes were airing: One Piece narrates the story of Monkey D.

This fruit gives his body rubber-like properties but takes away his ability to swim. Luffy dreams of finding the greatest treasure of the world- One Piece.

Where to watch One Piece dubbed? [14]

One Piece is one of the greatest anime series ever, according to – well – everyone. With more than two decades on the market, One Piece marked a whole era of anime history and is still going strong, although it is slowly approaching its end, as Oda confirmed.

Knowing that the anime series is very popular, we are going to tell you where you can watch the dubbed version of One Piece. Dubbed episodes of One Piece can be found on Funimation, Crunchyroll, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix.

In the rest of this article, we are going to tell you which streaming services offer dubbed episodes of One Piece for streaming in the West. We’re going to tell you about all the major streaming services as well, so you’ll have all the information you need if you want to stream this historically important anime work.

One Piece is one of the longest anime series in history. It premiered on October 20, 1999 in Japan and has been on the air for more than 20 years.

Currently, the anime has 1,014 episodes, but that number is set to increase in the future. One Piece in dubbed format is available on Netflix, but in a very limited capacity.

It might be a little disappointing that a leading network like Netflix doesn’t have all the dubbed episodes of One Piece available on its service. We assume that it has to do something with the licensing and distribution rights, but we cannot be sure that that is the actual reason.

Netflix is doing a great job in providing its subscribers with great streaming content, but it does have some restrictions. So if you live in a country with geographic restrictions, you may not be able to watch One Piece on Netflix even with a full subscription.

If you live in a geographically restricted country, you will not be able to watch One Piece unless you change your location, but the good thing is that the dubbed episodes are not region-locked. the bad news is that there are not many of them to watch in the first place.

Interestingly enough, One Piece dubbed episodes are available on Crunchyroll and it is the most up-to-date source for dubbed One Piece online.

If you also want to watch some great anime titles, Crunchyroll is your best option if you ask us, so it’s great that, in addition to the dubbed episodes of One Piece, you can also watch some other great shows.

However, if you do not mind Western animation and some other anime series (although the offer is quite limited), Disney+ offers quite a few of them.

Some other similar shows, both animated and live-action, that might attract your attention include Gravity Falls, The Mighty Ducks, and the Star Wars series, including the very popular The Mandalorian. One Piece is fully available on Funimation in dubbed format for all fans to enjoy.

Note that ”fully” here means – as they are dubbed by the studio, not as they are released in their original format, since dubbed episodes always arrive at a later date. One major issue with Funimation is that it is not available around the world, so you’re only able to access it from a limited number of countries around the world, which can be a nuisance.

Hulu is not one of the major players in the world of streaming, but nonetheless, it offers great content for its subscribers. Hulu is a streaming service that primarily offers live-action shows and movies, but there is also a lot of anime, and One Piece is among the anime series offered on the service.

A downside, though, is that Hulu does not have all of the episodes in dubbed format, which is certainly going to limit your options. So, if you’re a Hulu subscriber, you’ll be able to watch the One Piece anime series in a limited capacity, but you have to know that Hulu is not available around the world, which is a downside.

Namely, the streaming service simply doesn’t have the shows among its titles, so if you’re a subscriber and have been looking to see the show, we don’t have any good news for you. But, if you actually do have a free trial or an ongoing subscription to HBO Max, you can also watch other great anime shows, some of which are true classics that need to be watched regardless of whether you’re a fan or not.

Some other great anime on HBO Max include Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Death Note, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Re:ZERO. Dubbed episodes of One Piece are available for streaming on Amazon Prime in dubbed format but in a limited capacity.

This, sadly, also includes Amazon’s non-Prime pay-per-view library, which means that you cannot rent or buy the individual One Piece dubbed episodes that are missing. Now, as we have said above, what surprised us the most is the fact that Amazon doesn’t offer all of the anime episodes for purchase, as it does with a lot of other shows via its pay-per-view model (for example, Black Clover).

One advantage of the rent or buy option on Amazon is the lack of restriction, either in time or location. Anywhere in the world, you can buy any available season or episode of a show, which is a good thing since some streaming services don’t offer their full slate for all countries.

Be that as it may, this applies to dubbed One Piece episodes in a limited form, as the number of episodes available on Amazon is limited.

Where To Watch [15]

Warning: The following contains spoilers for One Piece Episode 1088, “Luffy’s Dream,” now streaming on Crunchyroll. One Piece Episode 1088 was the last episode before the Egghead Island arc.

The Marines, led by Koby, traveled to the island in hopes of capturing Boa Hancock after the Shichibukai system was abolished. Meanwhile, the Blackbeard Pirates journeyed to the island because of their captain’s need to steal Hancock’s Devil Fruit.

She used her devil fruit power to petrify almost all the Marines, along with the Blackbeard Pirates. One Piece Episode 1088 also revealed Hancock’s new bounty, which is 1.659 billion berries.

Episode 1088 also saw the debut of the Seraphim, who are the Marines’ answer to the Shichibukai. The Seraphim are equipped with incredible abilities, and they can easily decimate an entire island.

With Hancock preoccupied with Koby, Blackbeard took the opportunity and captured her. It seemed that Hancock would meet her end then and there.

He used his Haoshoku Haki, which scared Blackbeard. Rayleigh ordered Hancock to undo her petrification so that the Marines and the Blackbeard Pirates would leave the island without causing any further damage.

Just when it looked like Blackbeard would leave the island empty-handed, it was revealed that he had decided to turn his attention to Koby. The Yonko came up with the idea of kidnapping Koby for some unknown reason.

The episode also covered Luffy’s dream. The young pirate has been sailing with his crew for several years now, and it was about time that he revealed his dream to them.

It was also revealed that Sabo and the Revolutionary Army had saved Bartholomew Kuma from captivity and brought him back to Momoiro Island. One Piece anime will not be releasing a canon episode for the next two weeks.

One Piece Episode 1089 will be released on January 7, 2024. It will be the first episode of the Egghead Island arc.

It will be interesting to see whether the anime keeps the same level of pacing that it had for the Wano Country arc. A drop in speed will not be appreciated by the fans.

Toei wants to keep the same level of animation as the previous arc to ensure that fans enjoy it to the fullest. The Straw Hats will also go through a costume change, which is to be expected considering they are about to embark on a new adventure.

The teaser also showed a building named Punk Records, which insinuates that the island may have something to do with Dr. Vegapunk.

This lends further credence to the speculation that Vegapunk is going to be at the center of things in Egghead Arc. For now, there is no information about what other characters might make an appearance in the arc.

Oda has been saving these characters to use them at the right time to elevate the overall story. One Piece Episode 1089 will be available to watch on Crunchyroll immediately after it is released in Japan.

Fans wanting to watch the episode in English will have to wait for the dubbed version to catch up. MORE: One Piece: Most Expensive Devil Fruits.

Sky Island Saga [17]

So..you wanna watch One Piece, huh. As in, all of One Piece.

Plus, it’s also one of the most accessible, being available on several different streaming platforms like Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, and more. That said, the statement of “watching One Piece” is far easier said than done, as it is one of the longest and longest-running anime shows ever created.

Surely no more than 500, right. ” Try well over a thousand episodes of content and counting, as the series is still providing new episodes to this very day.

Luffy (Mayumi Tanaka) and his crew of pirates unfold is about as tricky as finding the fictional treasure they’re looking for (which they still haven’t found, by the way). Regardless, while the anime series has always had its fans, there has been renewed interest following the buzz around Netflix’s big-budget live-action adaptation, which at $18 million per episode, is one of the most expensive shows ever made.

Though this may seem like a frivolous task to some, we here at Collider never shy away from a challenge. Rather than being comprised of seasons, One Piece consists of sagas and arcs made up of episodes within those sagas.

Keep in mind we won’t be covering any of the OVAs or the movies. Many are either difficult to find or do not yet feature a dub or sub-version.

The ever-growing story of One Piece begins with the Romance Dawn Arc, which kickstarts the original East Blue Saga. We quickly meet our main protagonist of, Monkey D.

Oh, and he also ate an artifact known as a “Devil Fruit,” allowing Luffy to stretch his body miraculously. An aspiring captain in need of a crew, Luffy spends this first trilogy trying to recruit Roronoa Zoro (Kazuya Nakai) – a skilled pirate hunter with a unique dueling style.

Upon arrival, they see the town has been taken over by the insane clown pirate, Captain Buggy (Shigeru Chiba). Luffy finds a navigator for his crew in Nami (Akemi Okamura) – a master thief obsessed with building her wealth and finding treasure.

Though Usopp lacks any piracy experience, his determination to help expose a butler masquerading as a deadly pirate proves him a worthy ally for Luffy’s team. Plus, their helping of Usopp leads to the crew finally getting their bona fide ship.

Knowing they’ll need food for this journey, they find a cook in Sanji (Hiroaki Hirata) – a cool-as-ice sous-chef who falls head over heels in love with Nami. After getting separated from Nami during the events during the Baratie Arc, the protagonist find she has been recruited by the Arlong – a dreaded fish-human hybrid with a thirst for violence.

Now with enough crew members to begin this quest properly, the Straw Hat crew is ready to make their way to the grand line. Before embarking on that multi-year quest, they head to where Gold Roger (Chikao Ôtsuka), the Pirate King who hid the One Piece treasure, was born and died.

In a change of pace for the East Blue Saga, One Piece takes a few episodes to explore what Buggy and his crew got up to following Orange Town and how they got to Loguetown to face Luffy again. Some arcs in the One Piece series are not based on the original Manga and are made only for the series.

Filler arcs like this are still enjoyable watches, but can ultimately be skipped in favor of the main content. The arc that star of the Arabasta Saga is even shorter than the Romance Dawn Arc, being only two episodes long.

Not only do the Straw Hats meet a fearsome giant whale, but they also see that they have a duo of bounty hunters on their tale. After passing the Reverse Mountain and gaining a Log Pose (a compass-like device to help navigate the Grand Line), the Straw Hat crew arrive at Whiskey Peak.

That’s how it appears on the surface, but there’s much more to the mysterious island. The following two episodes reunite audiences with Helmeppo (Kôichi Nagano) and Koby (Mika Doi) – two minor characters who appeared back in the Romance Dawn arc.

Circling back to Luffy and the Straw Hat crew, their next stop in the Grand Line is an island home to two giants locked in combat. They also have a proper battle with the hunters tracking them, known as Baroque Works, who seek to collect the hefty bounty on Luffy.

When Nami gets sick, the Straw Hats desperately search for someone to heal her. They find one in a talking, anthropomorphic reindeer of all things named Tony Tony Chopper (Ikue Ôtani).

This comes after the Straw Hats learn that Baroque Works is seeking insight into a war in the province of Arabasta, with the puppet master of this act of warmongering being led by the mysterious Mr. 0 (Ryûzaburô Ôtomo).

Another filler arc that can be skipped, the Post-Arabasta arc largely centers on some solo anthology stories of most of the Straw Hat crew. The Sky Island Saga begins with..another filler arc.

Okay. Oh, for the love of- another filler arc.

Basically, all you need to know is that the Marines are hunting the now-infamous Straw Hats. That’s more like it.

When Luffy and the Straw Hats are confused by the Log Pose’s directions (which seem to be pointing up), they discover the answer is the compass is leading them to a island floating in the sky. The Straw Hats meet new friends, new enemies, and even Blackbeard (Akio Otsuka) himself.

Much like Arabasta, the island is in a war-torn state, all being orchestrated by a malevolent madman who claims to be a god, going by Enel (Toshiyujji Morikawa). While technically another filler arc, the G-8 Arc at least functions as an epilogue to the Skypiea Arc.

The next saga begins with some of the Straw Hats most troublesome foes yet, the aptly named Foxy Pirates. Now that the Straw Hats are recognized pirates, they are challenged to participate in a Davy Back Fight.

Another filler arc, but an interesting one since it’s based on one of the One Piece video games. After being an enemy in the Long Ring Long Land Arc, Captain Foxy (Bin Shimada) returns as a begrudging ally in Foxy’s Return.

The Staw Hats’ signature ship, the Going Merry, is badly damaged at the start of the Water 7 Arc. It needs repairs immediately, and the province of Water 7 may have just what they’re looking for.

Until then, the rest of the Straw Hat crew begin to become at odds with each other, and one member even goes missing. That crew member who went missing was Robin, who, along with Franky, was kidnapped and taken to the isle of Enies Lobby.

As their title implies, they are the “Evil Empire” of the One Piece universe and are essentially the franchise’s overarching antagonists. The aftermath officially makes Luffy public enemy number one to the nefarious regime.

The epilogue to the Enies Lobby Arc sees Franky indebted to the Straw Hat crew for saving his life. Not only does he repair the Going Merry, but he also officially joins the crew.

Garp (Hiroshi Naka). Thriller Bark is one of the show’s shortest sagas, and it begins with another filler arc in the Ice Hunter Arc.

Watch One Piece on Crunchyroll [18]

One Piece is famous for being one of the longest-running anime series of all time. The anime started airing all the way back in 1999, and it is still ongoing.

People all around the globe love One Piece and praise it as the best long-running shounen series of all time. If you have still not jumped on the One Piece bandwagon, then you are seriously missing out and should start watching as soon as possible.

In case you are a dedicated fan, I’ve also mentioned a few places from where you can buy the Blu-Ray disk sets for the ultimate experience. This anime follows the story of a young boy named Monkey D.

Luffy doesn’t go around attacking innocent people and stealing their valuables. instead, this high-spirited and kind-hearted boy just wants to go out on an adventure and enjoy his life.

Roger, also known as the Pirate King, talked about the existence of the greatest treasure in the entire world, One Piece. Luffy wants to be the first pirate to get his hands on this treasure.

All the episodes of One Piece are available for streaming on Netflix, but they are only available in a few regions like the US, Japan, Argentina, Australia, etc. If you have a premium VPN software, then you can enjoy the entire series by virtually changing your location.

The basic one costs 8.99 USD per month, and the most expensive one costs 17.99 USD per month.

Enjoy. Please note that if your Netflix library doesn’t update to reflect the country you selected in your VPN, you may have to clear the Netflix cache first and try again.

To do this on PC, you have to clear the cache in your web browser. I’ve had no trouble using this method and I still use NordVPN to watch anime from various Netflix country libraries daily.

Check out the offer below if NordVPN isn’t your cup of tea:.

Crunchyroll is a great option for watching One Piece online as this platform also has all the episodes of the series available, but you can only watch them in Japanese with English subtitles. Many special episodes and movies are also available on Crunchyroll.

You can pay a bit more to enjoy extra perks as well. The most expensive package costs 14.99 USD per month.

*Note: If you’re having trouble using Crunchyroll in your country, try faking an IP address using the method outlined in the Netflix section.

Hulu is also a great place to watch your favorite shonen anime, but the latest episodes of the One Piece series are not yet available on the platform. Hulu lets you watch the series in English and Japanese.

However, this package still includes annoying ads. You can pay 11.99 USD per month to get rid of all ads and get the complete streaming experience.

Funimation is one of the best places to watch One Piece online as you can not only watch every single episode of the anime series itself in both English and Japanese, but you can also watch most of the special episodes and movies. There are many videos available in the “extras” section as well.

Sadly, One Piece is not available with Amazon Prime, so you will have to purchase each individual episode if you want to watch it through Amazon. Considering the fact that One Piece has almost 1000 episodes, I don’t really think this is the best idea.

Most episodes are available for 1.99 USD.

These are a few places from where you can purchase the first collection: Buy One Piece on Amazon.
