Season 3 of One Punch Man will chronicle events that occurred after the 85th chapter [2]

Over the past few years, One Punch Man has become a well-known anime with a strong fan base. Viewers have been anticipating the third season of One Punch Man ever since season 2 ended in July 2019.

Readers can start reading the 86th chapter of the manga, as that is where season 3 will probably start, because season 2 of the anime covers up to chapter 85. The popularity of the One Punch Man manga is over the roof.

Disclaimer: All external media belongs to their respective owners, and Sportskeeda claims no ownership of the same. One Punch Man is a Japanese superhero manga series written by One.

In June 2012, a digital manga version illustrated by Yusuke Murata debuted on Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump website. Ever since its first release, the franchise has risen to prominence, becoming one of the most well-known shonen anime and manga series in the world.

The first season has 12 episodes, each lasting 24 minutes. Season 2 also features 12 episodes, each lasting 23 minutes.

However, they should only do so after watching all six Original Video Adaptations (OVAs) and the OVA published in Japan alongside volume 10 of the manga. While each of the former is around 10 minutes long, the latter is around 20 minutes long.

The first season is based on volumes 1–7 of the printed manga, which cover chapters 1–37. Meanwhile, season 2 goes up to Chapter 85 of the manga.

The anime’s second season suffered greatly as a result of hurried production. Showmakers tried to squeeze a lot of volumes into the predetermined number of episodes, which altered and reduced the creator’s idea.

the beginning of season 2 of the anime. However, this is not mandatory.

The One Punch Man manga series now has 181 chapters and is still in progress. The manga is currently on the Psychic Sisters arc, which will end in the next one or two chapters, making way for the next arc, Neo Heroes Introduction.

This is good news for fans as there will be enough material to cover in the anime adaptation. The webcomic, which debuted in July 2009, had over 7.9 million total views and 20,000 daily views by June 2012, and 186 million by October 2022.

This included the Sugoi Japan Award and the Spanish Manga Barcelona Award for the seinen genre in 2017.

Due to his ordinary appearance, no one spares him a second look before dismissing him as just another average Joe. Although being a hero has always been Saitama’s desire, before he became one, he was just a regular salaryman who didn’t appear interested in much.

Due to the fact that he is now too powerful to experience any thrills from combat, Saitama is forced to deal with an existential dilemma. After discovering that no one recognizes him as a hero and protecting his home in Z-City from monsters, bad guys, and other threats, Saitama joins the Hero Association with the aim of becoming a professional hero.

Although the third season of the anime has been confirmed, until it hits screens, fans can watch the first and second seasons on Netflix and Crunchyroll. Also, some manga lovers may have been reading One Webcomic from chapter 181 if they are up to speed with the manga.

How to watch One Punch Man in chronological order (two volumes): [3]

While fans wait for season 3 of One Punch Man to arrive after a longer-than-usual break, you might be looking to finally get into the famous anime series or to expand Saitama’s story by watching the additional episodes released on top of the two regular seasons. Regardless of what you’re exactly looking for, we’ve got everything covered in this guide.

He can defeat enemies with a single punch, but gets no respect from anyone, since the world is filled with heroes and villains. As a result, he’s bored, but nevertheless keeps looking for stronger opponents.

Read on below to find out the recommended watch orders if you want to watch the ongoing anime series: This the most straightforward way to watch One Punch Man, as it follows the order of release and therefore doesn’t spoil anything ahead of time.

As you can see, the order gets more unpredictable as you get to season 2 and its special episodes, but that’s the order that makes the most chronological sense. Yes, watching the Road To Hero prequel after season 1 is recommended even when you’re tackling everything else in order.

Let’s hope the wait doesn’t go on for much longer. Looking to get into more legendary anime series on top of One Punch Man.

One-Punch Man season 3 potential release date: When will One-Punch Man season 3 air? [4]

One-Punch Man season two came to an end all the way back in July 2019. The second season’s twelve episodes might not have been received as positively as One-Punch Man’s absolutely stellar first outing, but they still left fans wanting more.

Here’s what we know so far. Related: Solo Leveling anime release date and more.

News of the show’s incoming third season was revealed by the official One-Punch Man Twitter/X account. The announcement was also accompanied by a visual from Chikashi Kubota, the character designer for the anime’s first and second seasons.

It’s now been more than a year since the initial announcement though, and we’d expect some sort of production update to land before the end of 2023. Speaking of production, the biggest question mark hanging over season three is who exactly will be making it.

For now, all we have is rumours – but there are plenty of anime studios we’re sure would love to take a crack at Saitama’s next adventure. Although we’ve received no confirmation of the cast of One-Punch Man season three, we can assume the core cast will stay the same.

• Saitama: Max Mittelman (English) / Makoto Furukawa (Japanese)• Genos: Zach Aguilar (English) / Kaito Ishikawa (Japanese)• Garou: Greg Chun (English) / Hikaru Midorikawa (Japanese)• Mumen Rider: Yuichi Nakamura (Japanese) / Robbie Daymond (English). Related: SPY x FAMILY season 2 release date, cast, plot and everything you need to know.

One-Punch Man’s first two seasons covered the first 85 chapters, or 16 volumes, of the original manga. That means we’d expect season three to pick up from chapter 86, delving even further into the Monster Association arc.

Without spoiling too much, the arc’s major events include a full-scale invasion of the Hero Association, the recruitment of basically all S-Rank Heroes, and the ascension of Garou to all-time villain status. Fans of the anime will remember that season two’s finale saw Garou and Saitama meet and fight for the first time but it’s fair to assume the Hero Hunter will return in a major way in season three.

Blast is an S-Class Rank 1 hero on a mysterious mission that looks like it’ll tie closely into the show’s ongoing plot. He also happens to sit at the very top of One-Punch Man’s power rankings and takes part in some truly epic fights in the manga – which we’re sure will be repeated when the anime airs.

One-Punch Man seasons 1-2 are available on Crunchyroll globally, and Netflix in certain regions..

He specializes in writing about anime, LGBTQ+ representation, science fiction, and comic book adaptations. Recently he’s begun collecting Star Wars interviews like Infinity Stones and has spoken with The Mandalorian’s Pedro Pascal, Andor showrunner Tony Gilroy and the creative team behind The Bad Batch.

What to expect in the upcoming chapter? [5]

One Punch Man mangaka, Yusuke Murata, often takes to Twitter to provide manga updates to his reader base. The manga author recently uploaded a tweet that made the entire fanbase happy.

Furthermore, the tweet also went on to announce that he is feeling much better and that his health is improving. Every fan wanted to hear this from him, especially after seeing the negative effects of this industry on individuals like Kentaro Miura, who passed away after his health declined.

That being said, we believe that One Punch Man chapter 186 might be released on June 22, 2023. Disclaimer: This article contains massive spoilers from the One Punch Man webcomic chapters.

One Punch Man chapter 186 could possibly be released on June 22, 2023. This manga series does not maintain a release schedule.

That being said, there is a trend that can be observed with these manga chapter releases. Most, if not all chapters are released on a Thursday and the mangaka takes about 2-4 weeks for a chapter.

The latest chapters are released on Tonari no Young Jump. Fans can monitor the r/OnePunchMan subreddit if they wish to see spoilers ahead of the English chapter’s release.

In the latest chapter, he defeated the Forest Folk and The Forest King in just one shot, all thanks to the hardware update from Dr. Kuseno.

Based on the webcomic chapter, it is quite possible that Genos would reflect on his character development and wonder whether or not he has grown as an individual. He looks up to Saitama and even asked him about his opinions on the same.

Saitama didn’t even attempt to move or counter the attack, he just closed his eyes because of the bright light emitting from Genos’ core.

Genos explained to Saitama about the emergence of a new organization named Neo Heroes. Saitama will then understand how the Heroes Association has been involved in a series of illicit activities and that the public has lost its trust in the organization.

He also suggests the idea of Saitama joining the new organization.

Seeing that his master has no intentions of joining Neo Heroes, Genos also changes his mind immediately. Stay tuned for more One Punch Man anime and manga news as 2023 progresses.

I have to agree with you on this season Enzo, it felt a little disjointed. I think the problem comes from the fact that we are left at a halfway point and that we lost the focus on Saitama who just sort of shows up to save the day and nothing more, whereas in the first season we are front and center on his personal struggles.

All in all, I think there is still plenty of good stuff left but I guess we will have to wait for Murata’s adaptation to catch up to the original web comic, and that in turn be produced into a new season.

Now that we got here, it seems clear that who ever gave the green light to have the second season clearly should have waited, because oh boy, this was the worst time to end the series at.

Which is where I feel the biggest problem for this season (and really, this entire arc) had been. The feeling that a lot of the story is adrift, that a lot of these things happening matter much less than how they might have felt in the first season and the prior story arc.

But now that I watched it all unfold on screen, and less impressive compared to the more phenomenally drawn manga pages, I think that the issue is that a lot of this was just filler at the end of the day.

Yeah, it’s really cool to see all of these fights happen on the manga page, and yeah, that’s some damn impressive art. But at the end of the day, if you only create new plot threads that aren’t really meant to serve the narrative of the arc, and instead are just there so you could draw cool shit, the arc is going to go off the rails and whatever point you are ultimately attempting to make is just going to get lost in the midst of the fluff.

Mob Psycho 100 was always the more superior ONE series, but One Punch Man was also quite good. It’s a shame it allowed itself to become too indulged with how good it looked that everyone involved forgot to also give a lot of those moments just as much heart to have a point at the end of it all.

Instead his introduction is rather floundering narrative-wise and you don’t know how to take him. Is he just the bad guy du jour or what.

I think the season works better if you look at it as a commentary on the sketchy quality of the heroes from the frauds to the stars to the ones who want to make a name for themselves. @Arabesque I also wondered why we got an incomplete season, and what was the reason behind the production of it.

Money- OPM S1 was a massive hit, both financially and culturally. A second season was a sure thing, and with it more economic gains.

Necessity to stay relevant- The producers probably were afraid that if a second season took too long, people would lose interest and move onto other stuff. Anyone has any other ideas.

I think you pretty much hit all the major points.

I was so bummed at the end of this episode that I watched the last episode if season 1 right after, to cleans my palate so to speak. It made it painfully obvious that yes, the animation in season 2 is a disaster, but the worst part is actually the direction.

Sure, Mob100 was always better. But OPM was a lot of fun and had something to say in season 1.

Where Does Season 2 End In The Manga? [7]

Fans complained about the art style being different and the storyline being rushed. The good news is that season three of the anime is confirmed, and the fans eagerly await its release.

But some fans cannot wait for the release and want to read the manga. The first season of ‘One Punch Man ‘ends in chapter 37 of the manga.

Starting from chapter 38 would be ideal for all those fans who wish to read the details that have been missed in the anime’s season two. Therefore it is ideal to start reading from volume 8 chapter 38.

So for the fans who want to pick up reading from where the anime ended, it would be ideal to read from chapter 86. The only issue with this is that the production of the second season of ‘One Punch Man‘ season was quite rushed and the quality of the production was affected.

The second season of the anime weakened the illustrator’s vision due to the episode constraint. They tried to fit everything in a limited number of episodes and that lowered the anime’s quality and thus quite a lot of details were missed.

Yusuke Murata has confirmed the production of the third season and hopefully, the details will become available soon. The fans hope that the third season matches the expectations of the ‘One Punch Man‘ fans.

In the comedy department, one of the most beloved anime out there is One Punch Man, known for its masterful mix of serious combat with light and funnier moments. Unfortunately, this anime has been on a break for three years now, as some time was needed for the manga to provide enough new material for the adaptation.

So, for your convenience, here’s the best One Punch Man watch order, divided into the two available seasons, for organizational purposes. And there you have it.

Hopefully, the wait won’t be long enough for you to forget anything major again, but if you do, well, another rewatch won’t hurt.

Saitama and Garou destroy Saturn’s moon while their battle approaches its end in One Punch Man Chapter 167 [10]

One Punch Man Chapter 167 is one of the most awaited chapters of the series so far. It is thus no surprise that fans were elated when spoilers regarding this anticipated chapter released just a few hours ago.

Still, it appears that our hero is no longer holding back after Garou killed someone he cared for right in front of him. With that in mind, let’s talk about what was revealed in the spoilers for One Punch Man Chapter 167 in this article.

In the last chapter, it was revealed that Garou’s new powers have been granted to him by God, who wants to use him as a means to his own end. Yet, the villain is not fazed by this fact since he enjoys the new power that was bestowed upon him.

Blast tries to stop him before he can cause more damage, but Garou is able to copy his powers with ease, which makes him even stronger. As a last resort, Genos tries launching himself at the enemy in an attempt to cause some damage.

Without hesitating even for a second, Garou rips out Geno’s core, the equivalent of his heart, killing the hero instantly.

Saitama is not smiling anymore and just wants to destroy the villain for his actions. One Punch Man Chapter 167 will pick up the fight from the point where Garou and Saitama are about to punch each other with a Serious Punch.

Yet, their power is too much, and they end up flying away into Saturn’s moon. Garou is confident that he has every advantage against the hero, and starts to use his newly-acquired portal ability to try and defeat him.

No matter how fast Garou moves through the gateways, the Hero is already there. With a brilliant technique, the villain is able to avoid one of Saitama’s punches, creating an opening for him to attack the hero.

As Saitama uses the fragments of the moon as platforms to jump from, One Punch Man Chapter 167 gives us one of the most artistically-stunning panels in the series so far. We can see Saitama move at such an amazing speed that a trail forms behind him.

The villain decides to stay and fight, entering his Saitama Mode once more. One Punch Man Chapter 167 ends with both warriors punching each other, with Saitama surprisingly spitting blood for the first time.

Now that Saitama has no reason to underplay his attacks, Garou is realizing the true strength of his opponent. Killing Genos was a big mistake because the Hero will stop at nothing to destroy him now.

The panel that depicts Saitama and Garou standing on the moon with Saturn behind them is brilliant, and fans will surely love it when the official chapter releases. Poll : Do you think Garou is as strong as Saitama.

He appears to be.

Recap you need before One Punch Man Chapter 193 goes live [11]

The manga One Punch Man continues to explore the lives and struggles of various characters, such as Saitama, Fubuki, King, and the Blizzard group. Murata’s adaptation shows that One Punch Man is more than just a story about a bald hero who can defeat anyone with one punch.

But what will happen next in the manga.

The expected release date is October 5, 2023, which is a Thursday. The manga usually follows a biweekly schedule and releases new chapters on Thursdays.

However, this is not confirmed by Murata, the artist of the manga. The official sources to read the manga are Viz Media and One Punch Man’s official website.

King is an S-Class Hero who is known for his luck and reputation, but not for his actual strength. He decided to seek training from various masters of martial arts, but none of them could help him.

King was disappointed and frustrated by this, until he met Saitama, the strongest hero ever. Saitama gave King a simple advice: lift weights to gain muscle and power.

While King was thinking about this, something else happened. Fubuki, the leader of the Blizzard Group and a B-Class Hero with psychic powers, came to Saitama’s apartment.

However, things did not go as planned when Overgrown Rover, a monstrous beast, ate the beef. This made Rover join the Blizzard Group instead.

The chapter ended with Overgrown Rover helping Fubuki and her group fight a monster, earning his respect and loyalty. One Punch Man Chapter 192 was a funny and surprising chapter that showed King’s potential training plan, Fubuki’s failed recruitment attempt, and Rover’s unexpected alliance.

Three, Two, One, Kill Shot [12]

These might sound like harsh words for “One Punch Man” fans, but if you’re willing to be creative, you folks have plenty of options. For instance, if you have yet to see “Mob Psycho 100” — an adaptation of another ONE comic that is not only better balanced from an animation perspective but might even beat out “One Punch Man” in the action department — do it right now.

But what about our friend Shingo Natsume. As it happens, last year saw the release of Natsume’s magnum opus, a little show called “Sonny Boy.” It’s completely different from both “One Punch Man” and “Space Dandy,” an avant-garde tale of adolescence that spans time and space and features weird music acts like Mid-Air Thief.

It’s totally understandable to feel attached to characters you already know. But if what you loved about “One Punch Man” wasn’t just the adventures of Saitama and Genos, but the scale, the outrageous action, and maybe that scene where Mumen Rider goes up against impossible odds because he knows that’s what heroes are supposed to do — I promise you that there is great work seeded across anime’s past and present with that same punch and then some.

You should too.

Baraggan Louisenbairn (Bleach) [13]

Are there any anime characters who can defeat the mightiest of all, Saitama. Well, we have listed 14 such characters who have the ability to knock out the caped baldy.

Not only this, but Saitama’s strength was also showcased in chapter 168 of the source material, where the legendary character released a powerful sneeze that almost smashed Jupiter.

In Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Anti-Spiral is said to be a cosmic entity that possesses limitless powers. The true potential of this being is still unknown, but it indeed is boundless.

Of course, Saitama is someone who packs a heavy punch and can destroy a planet, but he can’t withstand the power of an entity that is considered God by many people. Baraggan Louisenbairn may not seem like a powerful enemy at first, but he surely is worthy to be called one of the strongest antagonists in anime history.

Baraggan has the ability to slow down time, which means he can efficiently study Saitama’s every movement. Of course, some fans may argue that the time manipulation ability is not enough to defeat Saitama.

And, well, doesn’t matter how strong Saitama is or becomes, he can’t defeat the old age. Nanika is basically an evil entity coming from the dark continent in HXH.

Nanika’s powers are limitless, and that’s what makes her a threat to humanity. With her powers, she can not only beat her opponents but she can also erase their existence.

Nanika’s wish is so powerful that it can heal someone who can’t be cured, as it did with Gon after he sacrificed all of his Nen, a damage that was irreversible. Similarly, to defeat Saitama, all someone has to do is ask Nanika to grant them that wish.

Undoubtedly, the caped baldy can dominate the fight with Goku until the Saiyan taps into his Mastered/Perfected Ultra Instinct form. Once he gets his MUI transformation, Saitama will not even get a chance to match his level because the potent form gives Goku the ability to power up in the most challenging battles.

Besides that, once Goku is in his MUI form, he can easily surpass the abilities of the mighty deities. Even though Saitama’s physical abilities can beat the toughest opponents, we can’t expect him to overpower someone who almost erased humanity’s existence using their time manipulation abilities.

Kurumi doesn’t appear to be as deadly as she actually is. Apart from being a time manipulator, she also comes with the ability to create clones of herself.

Ryuk is a Shinigami who isn’t someone who can be killed or defeated. in fact, he is the one who can kill anyone in the most brutal manner, thanks to his death note.

Ryuk is also immortal, being the god of death, and he cannot be injured even with deadly weapons. However, he can easily kill the ones he wants by writing their names in his Death Book.

Madara Uchiha is said to be the strongest Uchiha, even after several years of his death. Madara was a tough fighter since childhood, and further training made him almost invincible.

Moreover, the chakra he was born with also made him potent, as it was inherited by Indra. Madara and Saitama are equally difficult to defeat when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, but what makes the former superior is his time reversal technique, using which he can definitely knock down Saitama.

She comes with an ability to freeze time, and that’s what makes her dangerous. In a face-off between Saitama and Rimuru, the former can dominate the battleground with his hand-to-hand combatting skills, but he doesn’t have a chance against the latter if she uses her aforementioned skill.

Baraggan Louisenbairn from Bleach’s universe can be a worthy opponent to Saitama as he comes with several abilities that can easily surpass the caped baldy. For instance, Baraggan can slow down time, due to which the movement of his opponent will slow down too.

Baraggan also has a power that allows him to increase the age of his opponents. All he has to do is touch the enemy and watch them grow old.

Remember the time when Gojo trapped the volcano-headed curse in his infinity, making him paralyzed for a few moments. The same ability can help Gojo defeat Saitama in a battle.

The opponents’ brains also stop functioning when they are in this situation. Moreover, Gojo’s infinity also allows him to create a space between himself and his opponent.

Tanjiro can’t defeat Saitama in his human form despite having above-average human being strength, but he surely can defeat him in his demon form. Well, that’s because even if he gets punched by the caped baldy, he can use his regenerative abilities to heal.

Saitama can dodge attacks coming from a human being, but he is nowhere close to matching the strength and powers of a supernatural entity. Saiki Kusuo can easily overpower Saitama using his psychic powers.

For instance, Saiki’s powers include mind alteration, teleportation, stone vision, and more. And these are not easy to be handled, even by someone like Saitama.

Zeno is a deity in Dragon Ball who cannot be killed, but they can erase an entire universe from existence (along with its entire population) by simply moving a finger. If Saitama stands in front of Zeno, there’s no need for them to showcase any efforts to defeat the caped baldy.

So, if they decide to defeat Saitama without making use of the erase ability, they can use one of Saitama’s abilities and can kill the opponent with ease. Anos Voldigoad is the demon king of Tyranny, who is said to be the deadliest being to have ever existed.

He is the one anime character who has the capability to knock out the gods. Anos possesses the power of destruction within his eyes that allows him to destroy anyone who comes in front of him, so he can kill Saitama using it.

One Punch Man season 3 cast: who could return [14]

So far, we’ve had two knockout seasons, but it’s been a while now since we last saw Saitama on screen.

Read on for everything you need to know about One-Punch Man season 3. After season two finished airing in 2019, things went quiet for a while there, but finally, on August 18, 2022, it was revealed that season 3 of One-Punch Man was now officially in production.

This time around, COVID-19 related delays set production on the new season back, and it doesn’t help that some of the key creatives involved are now working on other projects. For example, Shingo Natsume, who directed the first two seasons, has been working on another series named Yojohan Time Machine Blues.

If we were to speculate, given that the 2nd season began in April 2019, it seems that One Punch Man season 3 could return in April 2024. Naturally, Saitama and his protégé Genos will feature prominently in the next season of One-Punch Man.

On the heroic side, expect to see the likes of Atomic Samurai, Child Emperor, Metal Knight, and Zombieman, among many others, in the organisation’s upper echelons. For monsters, besides the above, it’s up in the air because most are already dead, thanks to Saitama, but we know Garou and Orochi will both be a major focus.

The second season of One Punch Man, which aired on anime hub CrunchyRoll in the UK, was originally released in 2019. Season 2 of One Punch Man was full of action as Saitama continued his quest to be tested, battling the monster Garou who rampages through the Hero Association.

The central character of One Punch Man is Saitama, a superhero who has the power to knock out any opponent with a single punch. Saitama’s disciple is Genos, a teenage cyborg who seeks vengeance for the murder of his family.

Other superhero characters include the teleporting Blast, the female Tornado and martial arts expert Bang. The best sci-fi news and features this side of the Outer Rim.

You can unsubscribe at any time. Given he is the titular ‘One Punch Man’, there aren’t many people who can take such a brutal beatdown from the world’s greatest fighter – but there are a few one.

There’s also the likes of Overgrown Rover, but it’s worth noting that it doesn’t seem Saitama set out to kill them, just to teach him a lesson in manners. While he held back, it’s clear that there was still some serious power packed into Saitama’s punch, so even surviving that is a slight miracle.

Each season has been split into 12 episodes. There was a long wait of four years between the release of seasons one and two, with the series launching in 2015 and the follow-up landing in 2019.

Check it out below. There’s no new footage of One-Punch Man available just yet, but when it does arrive, expect to see Saitama battling a new adversary named Garou following Elder Centipede’s defeat at the end of season two.

Animation Studio: Graphinica and Yumeta Company. Another fan favorite that’ll return for another season in 2023 is Record of Ragnarok.

Since the previous season was criticized for its animation quality, Graphinica will be accompanied by Yumeta Company this season. Season 2 will resume the tournament between Gods and humans, with the next fight being the fourth one.

With the fate of humanity at stake, expect more fights to come in Record of Ragnarok: Season 2.

Since the anime will have a slightly different story than the video game, it was entitled NieR: Automata Ver1.1a. The director, Yoko Taro, confirmed that the anime will have a few discrepancies to the original story so that it doesn’t become an exact copy.

Animation Studio: feel. Another anime that fans are anticipating is Spy Classroom, a spy-fantasy story written by Takemachi and illustrated by Tomari.

The story takes place after a devastating war, where people realize that weapons are too dangerous, so they fight with deception instead. In a world where wars are fought with spies, a spy named Klaus is tasked to train seven girls to become expert spies that can handle any task.

Animation Studio: Liden Films. After its cliffhanger ending in Season 1, Tokyo Revengers was bound to get another season.

Tokyo Revengers: Season 2 will cover the Christmas Showdown arc, also known as the Black Dragon arc. It features a potential battle between the Tokyo Manji Gang and the Black Dragons, which leads to a dystopian future if they fail to prevent it.

The new revamp of Yasuhiro Nightow’s work will be animated by the studio Orange, which will be released next year in January. The story follows Vash the Stampede, a man with a $$60 billion bounty on his head.

Vash is also not your typical human, so you’ll have to watch the anime to see his full capabilities.

Stone: Season 3 is one anime confirmed to come in Spring 2023. It’ll be animated by the same animation studio, TMS Entertainment, and it’s also scheduled to be released in April 2023.

Animation Studio: MAPPA. Another big title to come out in 2023 is Attack on Titan: Season 4 – Part 3.

Although it’s been confirmed to be released in 2023, an exact air date is yet to be revealed. The final season of Attack on Titan will likely close any loose threads of the series.

Animation Studio: Lerche. Back in March 2022, Classroom of the Elite: Season 3 was announced, with a 2023 release window.

Season 3 will likely cover the Mixed Training Camp arc, where the students’ abilities are tested again. Furthermore, tensions arise between Ayanokoji and Sakayanagi, which may lead to a showdown this next season.

Animation Studio: MAPPA. A new anime you should also look forward to is Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku.

However, the specific release date in 2023 is yet to be confirmed. Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku follows the story of an assassin named Gabimaru the Hollow.

Animation Studio: MAPPA. Another famous anime returning for a new season is Jujutsu Kaisen.

Thankfully, MAPPA will continue to animate Gege Akutami’s work for another season. Jujutsu Kaisen: Season 2 will cover the Gojo’s Past arc and the Shibuya Incident.

Based on the popular manhwa by Chugong, Solo Leveling will finally get its well-deserved anime adaptation. The anime will be adapted by A-1 Pictures, and it’s currently slated for a 2023 release.

Solo Leveling’s main character is a Hunter named Seong Jin-Woo. He was the weakest among his fellow Hunters until he woke up one day with a new ability.

Animation Studio: Ufotable. As another world-renowned success, Demon Slayer is confirmed to return for the Swordsmith Village arc.

Even though a new season has been confirmed, the release date is yet to be announced. Demon Slayer’s Swordsmith Village arc will have Tanjiro traveling to the Swordsmith Village.

Animation Studio: Drive. KonoSuba is also one of the more famous isekai anime out there.

What Will the Plot of One Punch Man Season 3 Be? [16]

One Punch Man has seen two successful seasons since it was first released in 2015. Understandably, fans were intrigued by the bald-headed hero and his ability to take down his enemies with a single punch.

But there has been no word about the show since the second season aired in 2019. That is, until August 2022, when it was an official announcement that One Punch Man Season 3 was in production.

fans are ecstatic. So naturally, audiences would like to know what can be expected from the following season.

It has been five years since the release of previous seasons of One Punch Man, and fans have begun to conclude that no more episodes will be released. However, the official Twitter page (now the official X page) for the anime posted a teaser visual that revealed a third season would be released.

It was cited by @animetv.jp as having been drawn by character designer Chikashi Kubota. Naturally, fans were excited by the news and have been trying to find as much concrete information as possible about the following season.

This recap is probably unnecessary for most people clicking on this article, as you are a fan already, but for ease, let’s quickly recap the events of the last two seasons of One-Punch Man.

Along with Saitama, we also met the cyborg Genos (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa in the original Japanese dub and Zach Aguilar in the English), who acts as a kind of “sidekick” to our hero, as well as the Hero Association. The first season of One-Punch Man ended after Saitama had finally found someone worthy of fighting him, Boros, after a thrilling battle between the two.

This season continued Saitama’s journey and was the first introduction of the process of “Monsterization”, when The Monster Association forces everyday humans to consume Monster King that they got from the Monster King Orochi, transforming them into formidable monsters.

However, if the anime continued following the manga like the previous season did, the following season would pick up at the end of season two, from chapter 85. Where the previous arcs of the manga and anime have told the story of Saitama and how he makes his way through the ranks of the Hero Association, chapter 86 picks up with the Monster Association Arc.

In addition, the new season will probably further explore the Monster Association and introduce higher-level threats such as Evil Natural Water and Royal Ripper, and even the further whispers of “God”. The most anticipated scenes for season 3 lie in the array of fighting sequences between the heroes and villains.

It’s hard to say what elements of the manga series will survive the anime adaptation, especially considering The Monster Association HQ is traditionally right beneath Saitama’s house, causing some issues and inconveniences for him. Supposing one considers the scale of the fights that have already been seen between Saitama and other members of the Hero Association, the next season’s sequences will be something to look forward to.

Based on the information provided by the manga, it can be safe to assume that Saitama and protégé Genos will return for the next season. It is also safe to assume that they will be reprising their roles as the main characters in the show.

However, some new characters and heroes will be introduced into the show, and many will be villains. It is important to remember that none of this information has been officially confirmed and is based on the remaining chapters of the manga.

Much to fans ‘ disappointment, there is no confirmed teaser or trailer for the third season. There has also been no confirmation of a date for a trailer drop either.

However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that fans have nothing to watch in the meantime. The creator of One Punch Man, Yusuke Murata, illustrated and released a short for the anime in September 2019.

And you have seen the main series but were unaware. In that case, quite a few OVAs are available on many streaming sites that continue the adventures of fans’ favourite heroes.

So, it would be safe to assume that Crunchyroll will be the go-to spot to watch it once the next season drops. Like many other anime fans, you can read One-Punch Man on VIZ Media.

Unfortunately, there has not been a confirmed release date for the new season. Some fans were hoping for a third season as early as 2023, but that was highly unlikely because the show had entered production in 2022.

This is because one also must consider the general amount of time it takes the production studio to produce a season. For example, it took four years before fans saw a second season of One Punch Man following its initial announcement and release in 2015.

A recent article by Dexerto cited the same Tweet from the official Twitter page and mentioned a hope of seeing more information about the release of season 3 at Tokyo’s Jump Festa 2024, the anime convention of the year that is scheduled to take place from the 16th to the 17th of December, 2023, and will hopefully tell us everything that we have to look forward to in 2024.

This article mentions this as fans may see the live-action version of the show before they see season 3 of One Punch Man. So, fans may be interested in the fact that a live-action film was confirmed last year.

Director Justin Lin has been tied to the project as the director, with Jeff Pinker and Scott Rosenberg taking up the film’s screenwriter role. Lin has seen his hand in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006), whereas Pinkner has worked on The Amazing Spider-Man (2014), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and Venom (2018).

Rosenberg has written for Gone in 60 Seconds (2000), Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017), and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019). He was an executive producer for the last film and has also done some uncredited revisions for Spider-Man (2002).

The film has also secured a production company with Avi Arad and Ari Arad of Arad Productions (Spider-Man film series, Iron Man, X-Men film series and Venom, according to Deadline). RELATED: The Most Powerful & Strongest Anime Characters Of All Time Ranked.
