The people of Los Santos have the same mentality. However, there are still places where you can acquire a helicopter.

While doing missions for Franklin’s friend Tonya – someone who isn’t among the most likable characters in the game – you pick up and drop off a tow truck from a car park next to Davis’s Sheriff Station. So after driving around in that slow vehicle, you may want to head next door to acquire something quicker.

To reach it, you must go around to the back of the building and climb up the ventilation. Most hospitals have helipads to allow air ambulances to deliver patients quickly.

Yet, this is Grand Theft Auto, so who cares about people’s lives. The helipads are still useful, though, as they sometimes have helicopters parked on them.

And luckily, on the southwest part of the Medical Center, there are various ladders and sets of stairs that give you easy access to the roof. So, if any helicopters have spawned, you can quickly reach them.

This is because the place is run by Merryweather security, who don’t want random criminals walking around. And they aren’t the only threat, as the police also get involved when you enter the area.

The Vespucci area is one of the best in Los Santos and is among the reasons the city is so beloved. However, most of the fun you have in the area is likely to be ruined by the Vespucci Police Force.

For example, a helicopter regularly spawns on top of their station. Getting up there isn’t easy, though.

It’s a hassle, and the helicopter isn’t even always there. So, it’s not the recommended way of getting a chopper.

But if you want to save money, you can typically find a helicopter already there. It’s controlled by an NPC, who can often be seen landing or taking off from the spot.

Unfortunately, it won’t always be there for you to take. But if you’re close by and in the market for a chopper, it’s worth having a look since you don’t need to climb anything to reach it.

You interact with several government agents throughout the main story. They always cause you trouble, so you deserve some compensation, which you can get in the form of a helicopter.

Admittedly, the chopper doesn’t come from the FIB building where most of the antagonists work. Instead, it can be found at the NOOSE facility, which is outside of Los Santos to the east.

On top of it, you can usually find a helicopter. The Dom Beasley strangers and freaks missions task you with doing all sorts of wild stunts.

These jumps vary quite a bit. Some of them have you take a helicopter up in there to get in the correct position.

The plus side is there are several helipads next to the runway that regularly have choppers parked on them. Unfortunately, getting a helicopter out of there and away from danger without being blown up is very difficult unless you use some cheats.

You can also get helicopters legitimately by buying them through the in-game internet or acquiring them during missions. Once you do, you can spawn the vehicles from any helipad you own.

Not only do these helipads contain the vehicles you buy, but you also can keep any of the others you acquire there. So, for instance, if you steal a chopper, you can bring it back to a helipad to keep it.

Helicopters are probably the most versatile way to get around in GTA 5. To use a helicopter, players need to find one of the many helipads found throughout San Andreas.

Given below is a list of all the locations where players can find helicopters in GTA 5. Players must note that this list is for the single-player story mode of Grand Theft Auto 5, and not GTA Online.

The LSIA is one of the best places in GTA 5 to get a helicopter, as it is the biggest airport in the game with the most helicopters available. Franklin and Michael can buy helipads here to store their own personal helicopters.

The Sandy Shores airstrip is the biggest airfield in Blaine county. Players can use this airfield to get back to Los Santos without wasting too much time.

This is the safest location to get a Helicopter in the game without gaining a wanted level. Players can simply climb the building using the stairs to reach the rooftop helipads.

This location is one of the most difficult places to steal a helicopter from. This is because as soon as players fly into this airspace, they receive a 4 star wanted level.

Elitás Travel offers expensive helicopters that are mainly used for getting from one place to the other in the most luxurious style possible. The helicopters available on this site range in size and speed, though most of the choppers available will be fairly fast to begin with.

Comparatively, the helicopters on Warstock Carry and Cache are primarily focused on arming players with weapons and armor. Most helicopters on this site are weaponized in some way, giving players the option to open fire in the skies.

Players can visit the site they feel best suits their needs for a helicopter. However, before going to purchase one, it’s important that players remember they will need a personal aircraft hangar or something comparable to store their chopper.

Now that players know how to go about buying a helicopter, they can get into which one to spend their hard-earned money on. There are dozens of options in GTA Online and it’s hard for players to truly go wrong depending on their needs.

Arguably the most-used helicopter currently in GTA Online is the Sparrow. This chopper comes with homing missiles as its only weapon and some minor armor.

It costs $1.8 million, not including the price of the submarine. While this is certainly not the fastest or most decked-out helicopter, it’s arguably the most useful in GTA Online.

While the Akula is a terrific helicopter, it does come with a huge price tag of $3.7 million. Players might want to save up for the Akula if they want a fully-stealth vehicle in GTA Online.

The Volatus is one of the sleekest and most luxurious helicopters in GTA Online. While players won’t be able to take it into a firefight, that’s not what it was designed.

It was also designed to be the fastest helicopter in GTA Online, which is a boon for any player looking to get across Los Santos quickly. It has a top speed of 161 mph, which blows most other helicopters out of the water.

This chopper’s price tag sits at roughly $3 million, which isn’t a horrible price considering what players are getting in return.

Last on the list is the Buzzard, which has been one of the most popular helicopters in GTA Online for some time. The main reason for this is the Buzzard’s price, which sits at $1.7 million.

The Buzzard is also able to be spawned in directly from the CEO menu, which means players can board it much quicker than other choppers in GTA Online.

The Buckingham Police Maverick is a Helicopter featured in Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online. The Police Maverick is a variant of the standard Maverick base model.

This vehicle also appears in Grand Theft Auto VI, Grand Theft Auto IV, GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City and GTA Vice City Stories. In GTA V Story Mode, the Police Maverick can only be found and stolen (see the spawn locations in the “Appearances” section below).

The Police Maverick cannot be acquired in GTA Online, and it cannot be stored as a personal vehicle.

The design of the Buckingham Police Maverick is based on a real life Eurocopter AS350B. The actual top speed of the Police Maverick in GTA V is 144.00 mph (231.74 km/h), as it’s been accurately tested in-game by Broughy1322.

Amount of explosives required to destroy the Police Maverick, with 100% armor, and occupied by a player:.

This mission is a bit frustrating if you don’t own your own chopper. It may be that the devs forgot to enable the construction site elevators.

Luckily there is a way to get around this at lower levels.

When it lands, shoot the pilot in the head. You now have a chopper to use.

Or go to Fort Zancudo and steal a attack helicopter. They still spawn there during missions.

Otherwise save up the cash and buy a personal chopper.

I used the helipad you can see on this map..

If you park up at the road and then survey the area with a decent mid-to-long range weapon then you’ll probably see a helicopter, normally hovering above a helipad. Let the pilot land and then shoot him from where you are.

If you get too close then he’ll take off and then he’s gone for good. If that does happen, or if there is no helicopter when you get there then just drive off and come back, in order to refresh the NPCs in the area.

As mentioned in CaulynDarr’s answer, it’s much easier to call MerryWeather and kill the pilot so I’d recommend that, but if you’re below level 30 then you don’t have that option. At rank 10, every time I have gone to the Eastern end of the large airfield (South of the lake), I have found a Maverick on the helipad.

I assume that as your rank increases, the helicopter spawning there may change. Also good as a getaway vehicle for robbing stores.

you don’t need a helicopter for this mission at all.. there’s a container right near the entrance to the airport that you can use to jump the fence if you’re in a vehicle.

Helicopters are a kind of air vehicles featured in GTA V, they can be commonly seen flying around Los Santos, and piloting a helicopter can be very helpful if you need to get to a very remote place, they are much faster than land vehicles. Helicopters also can be used to explore the city or suburban areas and enjoy the views from high above.

Below is a list of the helicopter locations in GTA V and GTA Online (The type of the helicopter at each location is different between the story mode and online). Unlike in GTA IV, none of these helicopters are permanently parked on the locations.

The Central Los Santos Medical Center is a hospital in Davis, South Los Santos, the roof of the lower section of the hospital building has two helipads, and Air Ambulances (a type of helicopter in the game) can spawn on them. The roof can be accessed via the stairs or the ladders on the walls.

If you don’t see a helicopter there when you get there, try to leave the area and return after a while, then helicopters will likely spawn there, but this method does not always work. If you still don’t see a helicopter after several visits, consider to go to other locations mentioned below.

The Davis Sheriff’s Station is a two-story police station in Davis, it’s located very close to the Central Los Santos Medical Center, and also features a helipad on the roof. To access the helipad, you can climb to the roof through the ventilation system on the back of the building.

However, if you see nothing on the helipad, you can take a look at the roof of the nearby Central Los Santos Medical Center, which is clearly visible from the helipad or the street below, sometimes when you don’t see a helicopter on the police station you will see one stationed on the hospital, and vice versa.

As a helicopter on a police station, taking it will attract a one-star wanted level, but can be easily evaded by flying into the sky.

There is a helipad on the dock of Los Santos Naval Port in the seaport of Los Santos, and this helipad usually has a chopper parked on it, the chance to see the chopper is higher than most other helicopter locations. However, the Los Santos Naval Port is a military facility, operated by Merryweather, so it can be a little difficult to obtain the chopper.

One of the methods to solve this problem is first take out the guards using a sniper before the player is too close to the dock, then you will have enough time to get on the chopper before LCPD comes. To snipe the Merryweather guards, you will need a boat, because the guards will not spawn if you try to snipe them from a great distance.

The Vespucci Police Station is a three-story building in Vespucci, Los Santos, near the Vespucci Canals. Sometimes a Police Maverick can be seen parked on the rooftop of the building, but this is not quite often, the chance to see a chopper there is lower than that of the locations mentioned above.

If you really want to get to the roof, first make your way to the courtyard at the back of the building, and find a stairway on the right hand side to start getting up to the roof.

The NOOSE Headquarters is a government facility in the Palomino Highlands within the eastern coast of San Andreas. It’s a little far from the city but the chance of finding a helicopter there is quite high, you can almost definitely see a helicopter parked there, except of some special cases which will be explained below.

The helicopter that can be found there is Buzzard Attack Chopper, it’s stationed on the roof of the building in the facility, you can make your way to it by climbing ladders on the wall of the building. The helicopter may not be seen if you access NOOSE Headquarters via another aircraft.

And no wanted level will be given after you take it.

The Vespucci Helipad is a large heliport in Puerto Del Sol, next to the Puerto Del Sol Marina. Occasionally a NPC-controlled helicopter can be seen landing to one of the helipads, sometimes it’s simply parked there, and still, the helicopter cannot always be found there.

And Franklin or Michael can purchase a helipad in Vespucci Helipad to store the helicopters landed on it or purchased online. If you have completed Dom Beasley’s mission Risk Assessment, Parachute Jumps will be available in many different locations around the State of San Andreas.

When the player character comes close to the helicopter, holding the enter button will make the character hijack it. Not every parachuting location has a helicopter, many are Base Jumps in which the character will jump off a building or a cliff.

The other two helicopters used for parachuting are located very close to each other, one is waiting in the infield of the Vinewood Racetrack, the other one is waiting beside the southern edge of the racetrack, on Mirror Park Boulevard.

Los Santos International Airport is not only a source for various kinds of airplanes, it also can be a source of helicopters, as sometimes a chopper can be seen parked or landing on a helipad in the airport.

In GTA V, having a helicopter is crucial because it lets you move quickly around the vast city or navigate the game world more efficiently. There are several ways to get a helicopter, but spawning is the fastest.

In GTA V, you can spawn a helicopter via mod, cheat code, or your mobile phone. Although you can purchase a helicopter via Warstock or steal one from the military base, spending $2,000,000 for a vehicle or being arrested by the military forces is not a really good choice.

Cargobobs may be seen flying about or on the helipads east of the runway, waiting to take off. Players who attempted the Roof Entry method during The Bureau Raid in GTA 5 are already acquainted with the helipads on this building.

The Sandy Shores Airfield spawns several vehicles in GTA 5. This includes a custom Frogger bearing the Trevor Philips Industries logo, which will be found in the helipad after completing Three’s Company.

Sometimes a GTA Online player needs to get from one place to another very quickly. Even if they use the Career Builder mode on next-gen consoles, beginners won’t have too many flight options at the start of the game.

If you don’t really feel like buying a helicopter, but you want to use them anyways, GTA Online does give you the ability to call one. However, you need to meet a specific requirement before you can do so.

You can also ask for a “Helicopter Pickup” in the game, and a private Maverick will arrive at your current location. More often than not, players pull out their pistol and shoot the pilot.

If you get in the normal way, you would have to mark a location on the map and wait for the pilot to manually fly over there. Of course, this action will take some time.

Just keep in mind that you have to wait a while to call Merryweather again. If you request another pickup in GTA Online after shooting the pilot, they will curtly reject your proposal.

Merryweather Security will only let you use the “Helicopter Pickup” if you are Rank 30. If you want to level up faster, watch out for weekly bonuses when the game resets on Thursdays.

They can easily blow you up since the helicopter doesn’t have any protection. Of course, this is only problematic in public lobbies, and you won’t have much trouble in a private session.

You should also be mindful of where the helicopter lands in GTA Online. If you ask for assistance in the middle of heavy traffic, the helicopter will have trouble landing on clear ground.

Of course, this assumes that you don’t have a flying vehicle in GTA Online. Helicopters will get you to where you need to be very quickly, all without having to deal with difficult terrain or traffic.

Merryweather will make it much easier for you if you give them a call. Just remember that you need to be Rank 30 to do so.

Agency Services are services provided for you by your company. Mainly, they are travel opportunities and help with getting from A to B.

The Agency will have one company Helicopter that is free for you to use. To get access to the other helicopters that are listed, you need to buy them from Elitas Travel website.

Once you have chosen the helicopter, you are taken to the roof of the building. Here, you can pilot the helicopter and go wherever you’d like in Los Santos.

You need to have a car in The Agency garage for you to be able to use this. If you do, select this and you will be able to choose the car you want to take (if you have many saved there).

The SUV service acts a bit like a fast travel service when you want to get to a location from the Agency. When you select this service, you can scroll through several locations that you want to be taken to such as Paleto Bay and Sandy Shores.

When you are out working and causing chaos in Los Santos, you may need help to get back to The Agency. Luckily, your new company and business partner are always ready to help you.

You can hurry the driver but you cannot skip to the destination. The biggest risk with using this service is that other players in the session can attack you and terminate you while you are in the car.

One way to counter this is to ask for an SUV delivery. The car will be delivered to your location and then you can drive it.

If the company car has been called out for either the service or to drive it yourself, you will not be able to call it out again until it has been returned to The Agency. This is a supply and ammunition drop.

This one can only be called in from your phone by speaking to Franklin. We will update this page as we learn more about Agency Services.

The GTA games only introduced helicopters two years before San Andreas was released in 2004. By the time players met CJ, they were also very excited to check out his flying skills.

Flying a helicopter in GTA 5 is simple when playing on a console. On the other hand, playing it on your PC using your keyboard is a little more complicated.

In GTA 5, you can steer the helicopter using A and D on your keyboard while using W to ascend and S to descend. Tilt the plane left or right with numpad 4 and 6, and tilt up or down with 8 and 5.

Helicopters tend to have slower and smoother landing due to their design and mechanics. Luckily, you will experience flying a helicopter in a mission called “Three’s Company“, where Trevor flies a helicopter while Michael rescues a man from a tall FIB building.

Here are the steps to take off your helicopter: Press the “W” key and Numpad “8” together to tilt the helicopter forward without decreasing your altitude.

Remember that the helicopter might sway due to the air blowing, so try doing it slowly to avoid crashing into near objects. Many special helicopters carry weapons and magnets or hooks.

GTA 5 map is humongous.

Once you get up there, the helicopter should be there. Please note that once you start up the helicopter, you’ll get 1 star.

The buzzard is the most useful among all helicopters. You can shoot missiles and spam bullets with it an easy and fast to handle.

Now, the location of this guy is in the outskirt of the city. So, it is not so easily accessible in a short time period.

There is going to be ladder there and just get up to the top.

It is located at the Elysian island docks.

No latter to climbing, just run in there and grab the helicopter. There is nothing special about this helicopter that does cool things.

It does have a nice cool visual. Go for it if you like it.

Same deal with this one. There is two latter and easy to find them at the hospital.

Once you get to the top, the helicopter should be there for you. This was the helicopter that I used the most in my young days in GTA V.

It is so accessible to almost every mission that I had to go across town. Especially that I did not have a fast car.

If you’re lazy and do want to travel to these places then this cheat code would be for you. Just dial 19992899633 on your phone and it pops right in front of you.

For the most part, you won’t always find the helicopters of the story in the online world. Also, you should keep in my that your rank matters.

So you if you going to steal that jet, fly low and the missile won’t track you. Just buy what you need.

You can stop running around and hoping you’ll find a helicopter. Just purchasing your own helicopter will save you a lot of time and time is money in GTA Online.

We all agree that helicopters are pretty fast.

Also, they are expensive as hell.

I am going to tell you which helicopter is the best to get before any other. Maybe you saw this one coming and you were right.

I cannot stress enough how useful is this helicopter. The Buzzard versatility, speed.

It will make your GTA Online missions, assassinations in VIP, CEO, and biker business mission are so easy.

And, with its amazing speed, you will be cruising crazy fast on the entire map. You will need to watch out when it comes to PVP as other players can use a lock-on rocket on you.

Although, that is kind of hard to do.

If you’re into the business of CEO import and export and not using a Cargobob. then you’re losing a lot of money.

Import and export can be very profitable when you do them flawlessly. Cargobob will help achieve just that, flawless sales and import.

Look at it as a great business investment and, trust me, you won’t regret it. How.

Cargobob has the ability to transport vehicles. When you click the right button on the PS4 controller, it will release a lash.

It will hook and once you got the car attached, then fly straight up to the sky until cars on the ground are hard to see. If you fly with enough altitude, you will avoid annoying NPCs trying to drive down your profits.

or, the car will un-hook and fall. You might lose the car or the value will drop.

If you practice enough with the Cargobob, you will get the hand on it and adjust.

The Akula and Sea Sparrow and great helicopters but don’t have any unique abilities that the Cargobob or the buzzard cannot provide. The Akula is great because it is armored but it has less maneuvering and is tougher to get around rockets.

Overview. You may not know this, but, in addition to our 100% Completion Guide, there is a checklist at the Rockstar Social Club that automatically shows you how far away from 100% you are, and also what outstanding missions/things you’ll need to do in order to get there.

When you are walking front-ways-forwards the angle is limited. Simply turn around 180 and walk backwards and you should have a much greater angle to work with.

Armored Trucks show up on your mini-map as a blue dot and you should also know that you can rob them. Doing so will usually result in getting a Wanted Level, but follow this guide and you’ll be able to rob any parked (yes it must be parked) Armored Truck without getting a Wanted Level.

You shouldn’t try and full-on ram him, it should just be enough of a knock so that the guard stumbles and drops the case. When he does, jump off the bike and grab the case yourself.

Instead, get back on your bike and ride off into the sunset – with no Wanted Level.

You simply need to login and redeem your code via the official Sony Entertainment Network website. Make sure you are logged into your PSN account first, and then simply head here and redeem the code.

To avoid getting a wanted level every time you enter the airport purchase a plane hangar. When driving as Franklin, if you activate his special ability (slow motion driving) and hit the brakes then it’s possible to come to a complete stop.

Also if you don’t want to get air when going over a jump you can do the same thing – activate Franklin’s ability. The reticle in GTA V can be a little small and hard to see sometimes, follow this quick guide though and you can improve it.

While riding a BMX you should hold the left thumbstick up and then press (or hold and press) the relevant button for your system to do a bunny hop. Once you build up enough speed you can start tapping the ride button in order to increase the distance – you’ll be able to work out the timing required.

While you are in cover, press the left analog stick upwards and the target reticule will appear. Alternatively if you’re at the “edge” of some cover, press left or right as appropriate.

Beware though, it will also cause your character’s head to pop out of cover a little bit, so you might get hit. Wanna know the spot you need to shoot to cause cars to blow up.

It’s the gas tank of course, which is generally placed just in front of the rear wheels on the left hand side of the vehicle. Shoot where indicated in the image below and you should be blowing up cars left, right and center.

If you want to choose the color of your new BMX then you need to purchase it during the same browser session as you purchase a car. The BMX color will be the same as the color of the car you choose.

If you’re looking for bulldozers in the city then head to the location indicated on the map below and you should find there’s usually about four bulldozers there waiting for you to take joyriding.

They Canis Mesa is a very cool off-road vehicle that is impossible to purchase in GTA V. In fact you’re not meant to acquire it, but there is a way..

However don’t drive it on the road. Take the left that you see down a hill to another road.

Where you are heading for is Michael’s garage (the 4 vehicle one). Park the Canis Mesa in the garage and then grab any other vehicle in order to complete The Wrap Up.

The password to the website is: futility. Also, later on as part of this mission-line you’ll need to answer a word puzzle.

This is a pretty cool feature/piece of detail included by Rockstar in GTAV. Simply grab a fire truck and then aim the water cannon at a dirty car.

This is a helpful hint if like me you hate having to line up properly with ladders in order to climb them (in other games). Because in GTA V you can climb ladders from any angle – even the other side of it.

There’s a couple of moves you can do in the middle of combat in GTA V. If you want to run and shoot at the same time (run and gun) then press RT (Xbox 360) / R2 (PS3) only slightly in and shoot.

To do a combay roll press RT (Xbox 360) / R2 (PS3) and then X (Xbox 360) / Square (PS3). Finally, if you want to do a dive then jump and press B (Xbox 360) / Circle (PS3).

On PC, you can do this by holding down the H key. There is a wind farm in Blaine County that can be used to take out police choppers in a very entertaining/satisfying manner.

Just note that the “McKenzie Field Hangar” needs to be purchased with Trevor, not Franklin. Also, Los Santos Customs is worth much more to you than the chart was suggest, as it means free upgrades for Franklin (and potentially all the other characters too).

Missiles can turn upwards, left and right very quickly, but are not so good changing direction downwards. If you’re stopped at some red lights rev your engine and honk your horn (not too excessively).

There are two policemen that always spawn below the overpass at Francis International Airport (located to the very south of the map) and they both always carry Carbines. Simply run them over (make sure you do it properly) and then steal their guns and ammo.

The Police Maverick in GTA V has been given a modern redesign, taking inspiration from the French Eurocopter AS350B. Its appearance is based on the Los Angeles Police helicopter livery.

The main section includes an open bay with sliding doors, side steps, and long skids, while the upper area showcases a tall engine compartment, dual exhausts, a three-bladed main rotor, and mounted winches.

The interior resembles the Maverick, with a central flight instrument panel. The Police Maverick sports a white primary color with black livery on the front section and tail boom, adorned with LSPD markings.

The mounted camera has advanced features such as RFID transmitter detection, zoom, direction, height indicators, and thermal vision, allowing the user to track individuals and listen to conversations, although it has limitations when the target is behind solid structures.

The Police Maverick offers average performance compared to other helicopters. It serves well for quick extractions or getaways, being fairly maneuverable with decent airspeed.

Its climbing rate is average for a transport helicopter, and it has a moderate weight. The Police Maverick lacks armor, making it vulnerable to damage.

It can withstand two shots from the Heavy Sniper before the engine fails completely. A single hit from an explosive will destroy it.

The open cockpit exposes front occupants to gunfire, and the tail can be targeted for quicker destruction.

The Buckingham Swift Deluxe is a Helicopter featured in Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online, added to the game as part of the 1.27 Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1 update on June 10, 2015. The Swift Deluxe is a variant of the standard Swift base model.

In GTA V Story Mode, the Swift Deluxe can only be purchased from the in-game internet for a price of $5,150,000.

The Swift Deluxe is stored as a Pegasus Vehicle or in the Galaxy Super Yacht or in the Hangar (Personal Aircraft). It cannot be customized.

Once acquired, you can request the delivery of the Swift Deluxe from the Pegasus Concierge, Interaction Menu – Aircraft, Casino Services, Phone – Yacht Captain.

The design of the Buckingham Swift Deluxe is based on a real life AgustaWestland AW109, Bell 222. The actual top speed of the Swift Deluxe in GTA V is 157.75 mph (253.87 km/h), as it’s been accurately tested in-game by Broughy1322.

No, you cannot sell the Swift Deluxe. Unfortunately in GTA Online it’s not possible to sell Special Vehicles, Pegasus, or Facility Vehicles.

There’s the classic Dodo Seaplane that everyone has come to know and love from the previous game, and then there are the usual commercial airplanes in the Los Santos International Airport.

If you simply do not want to drive around for miles just to take on the skies, we’ll show you how to spawn a helicopter in GTA V instead.

You might just find a type of helicopter that you like from these options.

More often than not, these helipads will spawn a helicopter that players can steal and fly around Los Santos.

The Military Base in GTA V houses military aircraft such as the P-996 Jet Fighter, Buzzard Attack Chopper, and the Titan Mega-chopper. All of these aircraft are up for grabs if the player knows where the Military Base is located and manages to survive the hoards of military personnel out to stop them from stealing these military aircraft.

When you think of Los Santos International Airport, you usually think of commercial jets. However, in GTA V, commercial aircraft aren’t the only things landing and flying in this particular airspace.

Keep in mind that you’ll get an instant three-star wanted level upon entering the LSIA unless you own a private hangar in the area, so get in and fly out as quickly as possible. The Central Los Santos Medical Center in Downtown Los Santos features two helipads that spawn up to two Air Ambulances in-game.

To spawn a helicopter in GTA V, players can enter the cheat code “BUZZOFF” in the GTA 5 cheat console on the PC or dial 1-999-289-9633 (1-999-BUZZ-OFF) on the mobile phone in-game for PlayStation and Xbox.

Players can simply board the aircraft and fly around Los Santos to their heart’s content.

Alternatively, players can simply visit any of the locations we have listed above to steal other types of helicopters in-game.

Hopefully, you’ll never have to use any of its weapons as doing so will have the military on your tail and raise your wanted level to a few stars immediately.

As per its namesake, the Grand Theft Auto series is filled with a truly enormous selection of vehicles for you to hijack and play around with. The most common vehicle will be a car, but sometimes you want something a bit more stylish, and there’s little more stylish than taking to the skies.

From fighter jets to simple helicopters, aircraft in the GTA games tend to be the ultimate prize because they’re often difficult to obtain. And when you consider that their origins began with GTA 3’s Dodo, it really puts into perspective just how far the series has come.

GTA San Andreas features the only pilotable passenger airliner in the whole series. the AT-400.

The only drawback against this plane is that there are only two places where you can land it: back at the airport, or at the desert airfield. This helicopter appears in Vice City, San Andreas, and GTA Online.

However, this is a wasted feature in Vice City because Tommy can’t swim, so it’s best to leave the sea landings to CJ. The Rustler is a WW2-style fighter plane that only appears in GTA San Andreas, and it’s also the first aircraft you unlock during the game’s desert chapter.

Its true potential can be realized in GTA Online because the cargo space allows for a lot of fun with friends, being almost big enough to be its own sandbox within the game. Unfortunately, Los Santos airport is the only place big enough to land this monster, and it’ll still be too big for the hangars.

This simple addition turned a simple flying tank into a toy of endless mayhem. There’s a lot of fun to be had with just picking a random vehicle and chucking it into the middle of a road, and the Cargobob can also take a lot of punishment thanks to its heavy armor.

The Luxor is the final word in aerial luxury and is perfect for when you just want to relax and take a scenic flight across GTA 5’s huge map. It’s one of the most expensive vehicles in the game if you want to gain it by legal means, but if you can’t afford it, there’s always one lying around at Los Santos airport and you should be able to get away before the cops decide to nab you.

It’s fairly easy to hijack one from Los Santos airport, and once you do, you’ve got access to some serious firepower in a very nimble aircraft. Its miniguns can annihilate most vehicles in seconds, and don’t worry if your aim is terrible because that’s what the homing missiles are for.

This isn’t a plane used to carry out heists or take part in dogfights, it’s a plane you spend as much time as possible flying upside down, performing barrel rolls in, and just having a huge load of fun. Its small size also means that it just fits in some of the tunnels if you’re feeling particularly daring (or lucky).

Its speed and firepower were unmatched and it had some good armor too, but there was one flaw, and that was due to the old controls which often made it hard to fly this twitchy fighter jet. Rockstar eventually brought the Hydra to GTA Online, and even though griefers use it alongside the Oppressor to cause annoyance, it’s still an incredibly impressive aircraft to fly around in.

This fantastic little pack controls pretty well, and you’re able to use one-handed weapons which is perfect for causing mayhem. Best of all, if you complete the mission “Black Project” in GTA San Andreas, the jetpack becomes a permanent unlock that spawns at the desert airfield (or you can just use a cheat code to spawn it in whenever you want).
